Oypla 3 Speed Floor Standing Gym Fan Hydroponic (Chrome, 18 Inch)

I picked it up to replace my previous black model, which lasted an impressive five years before a minor cable issue meant I had to fiddle with the wire to get it running. That fan worked brilliantly, and since I use it mainly as background noise to sleep, it served me so well that I decided to go with Oypla again. The fan arrived on time, securely packaged, and ready to go right out of the box. It’s powerful, with three speed settings, and moves air like a champ! I did notice it’s a little louder than my old one, which for me is actually a bonus—I need that sound to help me sleep. But if you’re buying this just to cool off, it’s worth knowing that it’s not the quietest fan out there. All in all, this is a solid, well-built fan that does exactly what it promises. It’s a reliable choice that feels built to last. If you’re looking for something powerful and dependable, or if you need that white noise at night like I do, I highly recommend it!

Nice little fan, smaller than I expected, but still powerful, works well in our 2 bed room flat moving cooler air from one side of the flat to the other, easy to move and position, tilts up to horizontal. Noticed the motor housing can heat up a bit and it could be considered noisy at full power but we've not found it annoying.

This is an excellent fan. I’ve always been reluctant to buy this model of fan, due to the lack of oscillation; however, I am so pleased I did. It is portable, powerful and relatively quiet. The vector of air it moves is really impressive and 90°+ tilt is really useful. It clearly out performs its equivalent standing floor fans with oscillation and is more than powerful enough to be felt across my kitchen diner. I genuinely will be replacing my other fan with this 12” version from Oypla. 100% recommended.

This fan is very good and shifts a lot of air to give a very good air flow. A bit noisy on full blast. Would of gave 5 stars but but it got delivered a day before I picked(my amazon day) so was left on my porch, as I was not in i was lucky to get it(not everyone works from home).

Absolutely brilliant. Bit on the noisy side but just grateful for cool air. Looks fab, well worth the money. Very sturdy and light weight, fan performance is outstanding

***(UPDATE)*** It has been about 7+ months since I first started using this fan and I can say with absolute certainty that this IS the BEST fan I have ever had!.. Exactly the same as when I purchased it; insanely good quality! It has been used EVERY single day (except for 3 days total) because I suffer from very frequent hot-flashes which are rather sudden and also amplified by my medication/health conditions... So it is safe to say that I STILL use this regardless of the weather (and I do actually have to keep my windows open 24/7 for my lung conditions). *** ***(Original Review)*** This is a genuinely incredible piece of kit! I absolutely love this fan! I have in on, oftentimes 24/7, it never overheats, it ALWAYS provides; whether on the lowest setting for a comfortable breeze when mild, medium setting for when it is warm & stuffy, or maximum setting for an absolute gale-force wind when hot, it is my companion, day AND night - ALL seasons! It can be direct-blast at you, or you can face it upwards to circulate air at different levels of effectiveness! It is super easy to move/carry, pretty light; not at all space-invasive, compact enough to store, if needed. I sometimes tend to rest it on a chair, especially at night, to provide direct wind on me & my bed from a metre away - perfection! Otherwise, it can be placed on the floor, at any distance, and provide ample circulation at literally ANY angle - from facing downwards at the floor, all the way up and even behind it!.. There are no limitations and it properly circulate a powerful air convection at/around the target + vicinity. So effective! It does not disturb my sleep at all!.. If anything it helps me get to sleep and stay asleep for longer! It somewhat drowns out my tinnitus; it is relatively quiet. (I do always wear in-ear headphones at all times though). Sometimes I wish it had 1 setting lower + 1 setting higher for those milder days & those absolute dead-air heatwaves + severe hot-flashes at night - this is a powerhouse nonetheless and I would not ever need another fan with this badboy around! Never ceases to satisfy my needs, I will keep this forever! So robust; the most durable fan I have ever had AND it's perfect, not too loud, exceptionally powerful and does not need a tall, silly stand! 10/10 - I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this!!! ***
