Barbie Volkswagen Beetle and Doll

This was a christmas present for my 2 year old daughter. She played with a similar car at her friends house so I knew already she would love it and she really did and still does 7 months later! Its place is still in the living room and I'm happy it hasnt been shelved yet, hehe. Now my daughter is pretty boisterous as are my 3 year old boy and 5 year old boy, they all play with this stunning car on a daily basis and I am surprised to say not one thing has broken on it!! I have even had toddlers coming to visit and turned around to see them standing in this beaut little car with my heart in my mouth, but still, it hasnt broken! Not one thing! Awesome! Now if only all toys were made like this. I believe toys should be unbreakable and this has defintely passed. When it arrived I have to admit I was very impressed, the bright pink colour and the lovely beetle design this car is a real eye catcher. All children who come to visit us make a bee-line for this toy. The only critisism I can make, and it isnt a big one of course else I wouldnt have given it 5 stars, is that the boot doesnt open. What an odd thing to say, right? Well, I know children and I also know the older version of this car had an opening/working type boot and this was a valuable asset to the toy. It is a shame that this was sacrificed. Saying that, I suppose the manufacturer wanted to retain the quality of the toy without making it unaffordable. Regardless this toy still is a huge hit in our house with the children and the adults (happy children, happy Mummy!). Thank you.

The little lady love these additions to her existing Barbie collection.She did,however become a little frustrated when she found that some other "genuine"dresses were cut too skimpy & would not fit the dolls at all & could not fasten up properly!

Very well packed although I think all items could have gone in the one large box instead of two separate boxes delivered at same time. The clothing sent seperately I was disappointed in as didn't seem good value for price

Ordered this for my six year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and it's great that it comes with a doll, unlike a lot of other Barbie accessories. Looks just like a real Beatle and bigger than we thought.Could not give it five stars because of horrendous packaging which takes forever to get into!

Arrived on time and was well packed. Is larger than I thought and my 8 year old grandduaughter loved it. Good value for money (considering its Barbie). I would buy again.

This is a genuine Mattel (Barbie) and VW product. Mattel and VW licence on box and on doll and car.Car reg plate is Barbie.
