Another really good deal for youngsters taking up fishing. So much better than what was available when I started.

The product was well packaged and promptly delivered. I am not a beginner but wanted a shorter rod for fishing some tight situations. It has been excellent and has been up to landing much bigger fish than expected including carp to 9lbs.

Reel is a joy to use, once I replaced the line with decent quality. The supplied line is ok to use as weaker line just for adding floats etc , no good as main hol/jig line, wouldn’t want a fish heavier than 1pound weight on it though! Rod is very very whippy, great for mild lake small fish, ie goldfish size 🤣, definitely no good for shore or sea fishing.
