What size sticks does/ can it take. Does it have to be a certain size or can you get any? Need some cheap ones.and don't want to jam the machine.

The Dual Heat sticks made by Stanley at about £3.75 per pack are the only one I've used. They can fit guns between 11.3 and 12 mm diameter and are 100mm long. The glueing job should be well prepped for quick assembly as the glue has quick setting time.

Correction to answer No 1: this glue Gun is precision made to use only 11.2mm diameter glue sticks - NOT 12mm! - other diameters such as 7.mm will not work and would probably bung-up the feed mechanism - 12mm sticks are not a standard item and even if they were available, do NOT use them in the Stanley glue Gun - or your patience will become 'unglued'

is this a high heat glue gun?

It is a standard glue gun but has the ability to work at lower temperatures with the right glue sticks (eg dual-temp sticks), for working with materials likely to get damaged by high temps, or just to protect your skin

is it easy to clean the tip after use?

Yes all you do is wipe it on a clean piece of cloth. The tip is covered in a silacone rubber heat protector (perminant), the glue doesn't appear to stick to it, so if you inadvertently left a blob of glue on the end it would simply melt the next time you switched it on.
