Excellent piece of equipment, solid and easy to use. Fitted onto my Kitchen Aid easily and securely, as expected with a Kitchen Aid own product but just to say it did. Came with a small brush for cleaning, which I have used sparingly as the item has remained very clean, I ensure the pasta is not sticky when I put it through the rollers. It rolls the dough like a dream, I’m very impressed and pleased. Would definitely buy the cutters, wish I’d bought the bundle, but couldn’t at the time. I did buy this piece in the sale for £41.

Bought it to replace my broken one. Use it more for rolling fondant to make flowers for Cake decorations

Dough has to be pre-rolled, otherwise the roller won't pull it. But when it does, it comes out fine. Also keep in mind that keeping that clean might be problematic. It's not dishwasher safe and doesn't disassemble easily. That's important when you plan to use dough with butter (like we tried for the thin cookies). Also bear in mind limited width (15 cm), might not be enough for every need but it's fine for me. Otherwise superb quality.

Worked really well … better than I had hoped. Is easily as good as a manual crank but this time you have both hands free. :)

Ho acquistato la Sfogliatrice originale KitchenAid 5KSMPSA dopo una precedente esperienza poco felice con una versione compatibile, che avevo anche recensito negativamente. La differenza si sente subito: qui parliamo di qualità eccelsa, materiali solidi, lavorazioni precise e una sensazione generale di robustezza che giustifica pienamente il prezzo. È vero: la qualità si paga, ma in questo caso vale ogni euro speso. Utilizzo questo accessorio per tantissimi impieghi: – lasagne – pasta fresca (tagliatelle, sfoglie sottilissime) – preparazioni dolci come chiacchiere, ravioli dolci e impasti zuccherini Il risultato è sempre uniforme, preciso e professionale. Altro punto a favore importantissimo: registrando il prodotto sul sito KitchenAid si attiva la garanzia ufficiale di 2 anni, dettaglio che dimostra quanto l’azienda sia sicura della qualità del pezzo. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia, come tutti questi accessori non va lavato con acqua (l’umidità può danneggiare i rulli e i meccanismi interni). In ogni caso è facilissimo da pulire: basta lasciar seccare eventuali residui di impasto e rimuoverli con uno stuzzicadenti o con il pennellino fornito in dotazione, comodissimo e molto efficace. Le dimensioni sono perfette, la sfoglia esce larga e ben lavorata, difficile trovare di meglio sul mercato. Unica piccola pecca, se proprio devo trovarla: la manopola/mandibola per regolare lo spessore ha un leggero gioco, ma non influisce minimamente sulla qualità del risultato finale. In conclusione: accessorio indispensabile per chi ama fare la pasta in casa e vuole risultati seri. Dopo aver provato i compatibili, posso dire senza dubbi che l’originale KitchenAid è su un altro livello. Consigliatissimo
