Amtech - 145mm Rasp Plane, Lightweight Multi-Material File for Wood, Aluminium, Fibreglass and Rubber Shaping

Used this on 12.5mm plasterboard and despite being cheap in cost, the product itself performed really well and made sure my plasterboard edges were nice and smooth to keep the plasterer happy! Well packaged, nice colour (so I don't lose it on site) and small enough I can slot into a tool box for future use. Feels good in the hand and cuts/shaves well on the plasterboard. Would highly recommend this product!

It’s plane good

I purchased the Amtech 145mm Rasp Plane for various DIY and finishing jobs, and it has proven to be a very useful addition to my toolbox. It's a simple tool, but it performs its job effectively and offers excellent value for money. The rasp plane is lightweight and comfortable to hold, making it easy to use for extended periods without causing hand fatigue. Despite its lightweight construction, it feels sturdy enough for regular DIY use. I've used it on wood, plasterboard and other materials, and it removes material quickly while still allowing good control over the finish. It's particularly handy for shaping edges, trimming plasterboard and making small adjustments where precision is needed. The blade is sharp and efficient, and the open design helps prevent clogging during use. Cleaning the tool afterwards is straightforward, and it stores away easily thanks to its compact size. For the price, the build quality is impressive, and it feels like a practical tool that most DIY enthusiasts will find plenty of uses for around the home or workshop. Overall, this is a lightweight, effective and easy-to-use rasp plane that performs well across a range of materials. Great value, good control and a handy addition to any DIY toolkit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🛠️ Ideal for shaping wood, trimming plasterboard, smoothing edges and tackling a wide variety of home improvement projects.

Maybe I never read the description right but it's small like 4 or 5 inch and not up to the job I wanted it for, I cant recommend.

Very poor, the blade is very very poor it doesn't shave as it should do not purchase

Very nice tool

Made well enough but the blade is useless no where near sharp enough and insult to injury the spare blade is the same ..I will let you decide went for a Shinto wraps double sided with two grades perfect

Useful rasping tool, purchased for finish a door and it did the trick exactly as required, very easy to use and it also comes with a spare blade which helped. I would recommend this for finishing off a job.

excellent product. top quality blade, remains sharp for a long time.

... "voltiamo pagina"
