Review: Nice Quality, Creates Beautiful Wave in LONG Hair - I really like the curls this wand creates. I have very long hair, and when I blow dry it and use this, it creates wave the is straight at the top, slight wave, and finishes with a slight curl at the bottom. Makes for really clean/tidy curls. I would NOT use this wand if I had short or medium length hair, as it would likely only create a slight wave and limited curl at the bottom. I found that for the shorter pieces at the front of my hair, this wasn't as effective and I used my 1.25" (32 mm) barrel on those pieces to make them curl the way I wanted them to. The wand itself gets nice & hot, which is helpful for making sure the curl holds its style throughout the day. It has an "auto" setting, but if you press and hold it, you can turn this off and control the temperature yourself. My only complaint is that the barrel itself is very short, much shorter than typical barrels I'm used to working with. This took some getting used to, but ultimately I prefer the width of this barrel to my 1.25" (32 mm) barrel.

**Q: What hair length are these good for? I’ve got a bob (mid length) and wondered if there is a recommended hair length.**
A: It’s for longer hair.
I think for a bob it’s difficult to handle.
Better for you is the small iron.
As you are able to make as well sleek look and waves.

**Q: Is this curling tong good on mid length bob! Don’t want tight curls just waves**
A: I am absolutely useless with my hair but this curls tight or loose depends how you want it.  I have extensions in and it curls and lasts no problem

**Q: Does it have a clamp ? How big is the barrel? What are the temperature setting?**
A: Bought for my daughter so don’t have it in front of me.   
It doesn’t have a clamp (like tongs). She just winds her waist-length hair round the barrel. It heats up very quickly and gives a beautiful bouncy  curl.  Well made

I really like the curls this wand creates. I have very long hair, and when I blow dry it and use this, it creates wave the is straight at the top, slight wave, and finishes with a slight curl at the bottom. Makes for really clean/tidy curls.
