Fantastic and Versatile Storage! Highly Recommended.
An excellent and (by comparison to most storage units) an inexpensive storage facility that is easy to assemble. I purchased this product in order to store shoes and found that it is absolutely perfect for the job. The product comes in the form of 68 see-through slates (16x square slates and 52 x rectangle slates) and carefully packaged connectors that can then be used to link the different slates together. The variation in slates sizes allows for considerable flexibility in the construction of your storage. You can create a smaller (more compact) organiser by using only the small slates or a larger one by using the long rectangular ones. This means that one can create two separate and differently sized/purposed organising units for different tasks. Alternatively, one can also combine the two slates to create a large storage unit; this is the option I chose and that which I found particularly useful for storing shoes. Previous comments suggest that there is some difficulty with the assembly of this product. I beg to differ, but I do see where some of the difficulty may come from. The product, in and of itself, is VERY straightforward in terms of its assembly. Taking am moment to consider how you want to storage unit to look and making sure you leave a gap through which to place the items you which to store is helpful. This element of planning extends to the way you position the connectors. This makes the assembly more swift and less likely to fail (on ground of miscalculation). The difficulty may in cases where a failed calculation resulted in the need to disassemble and reassemble the units. Upon assembly the slates click into the connectors to create a sturdy and secured grip. Disconnecting them may require some force but nothing more. At times it is easier to push out the slate instead of trying to pull out the connector. Either way, the easiest way to go about these units is by taking a moment to plan the construction and then build it accordingly. Apart from this minor need for force when disassembling the units, the product benefits from a number of great features: 1. The slates are sufficiently sturdy to create a stable and straight structure whilst at the same time flexible enough to store shoes of various forms and sizes. In fact, one can store several 'flat' shoes in one single cubicle if there is a need to save space and even fit boots (if the top of the boot is carefully folded). I found this element absolutely critical to my choice of storage product and this organiser serves this purpose to perfection. 2. The slates are matt - i.e. you can see enough through them but they are not completely see through so if a particular container may seem messy if looked at through an absolutely see-through slate, here the cubicle lets one know what is inside without revealing the less attractive parts of what it stores. Again, a big plus, and one that makes the whole unit look very pleasing. 3. This organiser is light and can be placed inside a wardrobe. The variation in frame and size means that you can built it exactly to the height and length of your choice. I bought two of these organisers and placed both within the wardrobe. One side (where I have short items hanging) I could built the storage to a higher level, whereas on the other side of the wardrobe where I have dresses and coats (which are generally longer) I built a shorter version which then fit neatly within the available space. 4. While the price may appear relatively low, this is definitely a huge plus as the product does not look cheap. Upon assembly, and once all the items are carefully placed within it, this organiser looks of excellent quality. On the whole I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more for the other bedroom.

Finally I found the perfect shoe rack!
This was my third attempt a getting sutiable shoe storage and I have finally found the perfect solution to my ever increasing shoe collection. Previously I have tried the clear shoe boxes, which I found annoying as you couldn't really see what was in them and when in a rush to get ready in the mornings my bedroom got messier and messier as boxes were pulled out from the stack to be opened. I also tried an expandable shoe rack which was essentially rows of two metal bars at slightly different heights that you place the shoes on so that they are angled towards you. This sounded good, but in reality everything just kept sliding off. What I love about this is that you can see all your shoes easily and access them easily - no opening boxes or worrying that by taking a pair you might disturb the balance and create a shoe avalanche! It's sturdy and easy to put together. You can also have as many as the boxes as you want. So in my wardrobe at one end I have my long dresses, so I've just made the shoe rack a bit shorter at that end. I can fit about 4 pairs of flip flops/pumps or 2 pairs of larger shoes in each hole. Since getting this for myself I've had to buy two more - one each for my mum and dad, as they liked it so much. Definetly recommended!

Happy with this...
I bought this in a last-ditch attempt to organise my wardrobe, which was a pile of messy shoes and boots. I've had the plastic shoe boxes (with carry handles) before but these are a hassle for getting things in and out, and with a baby on the way, I just wanted simplicity and to be able to pull a pair of shoes out with one hand. I have to say I was initially slightly alarmed to open the box and find that there were no instructions, just some plastic sheets reinforced with metal and some plastic clips - however I really needn't have worried. Just for the record, I'm female, 5"4 and 9 months pregnant. Yes I did sweat a bit pushing the clips in place but this would have been an absolute breeze if I didn't have a huge bump getting in the way. So I am confident enough in saying this is easy to assemble and doesn't require substantial muscle power - any mere mortal should be able to do this. Once configured into the shape I wanted it, it was sturdy but light and easy to get into the wardrobe. I can fit a pair of 4 inch stilettos upright, with no problem... but not sure if men's shoes will need to be stacked on top of one another as the cubby holes are not particularly wide. On the other hand, for ladies' flat shoes, you'll find you can easily get 2 pairs in, possibly 3 pairs of sandals / slippers into one if you squeeze them in! Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend. It loses a star only because I found that the compartments were a little too deep, I think they could have been shorter, which would have meant more space in front of the shoe rack to put some additional shoes / flip flops / slippers! Another point to note is some of the clips have the odd scraggy bit of plastic poking out from them, so be careful when handling these as I did get a few scratches and had to be careful when positioning them so as not to catch my longer / delicate clothes on them when putting the rack into the wardrobe.

Neat & Tidy looking
Love this new shoe organizer I bought. It took a little while to get the hang of putting it together but there is an instruction page that comes with it. Easy to assemble once you work it out. Very neat and tidy looking and easy to wipe clean and should stop dust from getting on shoes. Looks very professional and the shoes fit in perfectly. Not too great for bulky mens shoes (although I did try them and they fit in the space provided but was a bit of a squeeze) The space allowed for the shoes is perfect for average ladies shoes. I am tempted to buy another one of this shoe organizer as it will stack neatly away and save space. I would put the next one I buy together slightly differently to allow for high boots (by leaving the middle parts out and that would mean it would be suitable for 8 pairs of boots). Much nicer shoe rack than my current older wooden one. Also light in colour so doesn't make a room look dull or dark. I am definitely happy with this. Update 22/9/2015 this has still stood the test of time and we are still using it - probably one of the best buys from amazon to date!

Amazing build for the money - very sturdy yet very easy to dissasemble
Ok, it's not the most attractive storage system in the world... But each panel has a metal frame with rounded corners, tough enough feeling plastic membranes filling the frames' hole. The little plastic sockets that clip the metal frames in place are, as you can see from the pics, circular which mean that it's easy to slide along wooden floors if you need to move it without worrying about marking your nice shiny floor. Great for storing all sots of stuff. If there's any criticism, it's that a pair of men's shoes sized 9 upward won't fit side by side properly, not even formal shoes which tend to be slimmer... Odd since it's purported to be a shoe organiser.... But other than that, it's very well designed - I love that you're free to rearrange the compartments in any way you like, eg square or triangular. You could probably get away with a couple of overhanging compartments if necessary, if storing lightweight items

Excellent item,
This is really easy to assemble and is done in minutes if you follow the instructions. I would advise pushing the sides together at the clips both front and back to make sure they are fully in, as it wont fall apart when moved then. As it is made from heavy plastic, do not put anything heavy or sharp in it or try to move it when full of things and it should last well, my older ones as in good shape after a few years. Mine did come with instructions in the bottom of the box but you don't need them, others reviews have said there were none. I have used mine in full squares in the loft as they are light and small to get up there but sturdy when assembled.I have bought more to use in top and bottom of my wardrobes for shoes and handbags etc, rather than having them in a big heap. I would like to be able to buy additional clips as when used in smaller sections (not as a full square as shown) you run out of clips and have spare sides but that's the same with others I have bought elsewhere too. I will contact the supplier and see if it is possible to buy additional clips. Really speedy delivery too, very pleased.

A great storage solution
Having always struggled to find a home for the shoes, this seemed just too good to be true... but it's not! It really is as good as it looks. It has two optional ways of constructing (as pictured or within two rows making it taller), and is extremely strong and generously sized (even walking boots fit in). In fact, I have managed to comfortably fit three pairs of ladies loafters into one compartment to save on space even further. Not as easy to put together as I had hoped, and I did manage to break two of the fixing clips (which were strategically placed at the bottom). A bit more strength needed than I had I suspect. However, this is probably due to the good quality of the product and I did have it in position in half an hour - an hour. Definately one of my best buys and I would recommend. I just wonder why no-one invented this earlier.....

Does a great job!
I was worried about spending ยฃ115 on four sets of this product but having looked for something similar on the internet, I couldn't find anything like it and my OCD wouldn't let me have a messy wardrobe any longer! The items arrived within two days of ordering and were a doddle to put together and believe me, I HATE having to work through dodgy diagrams and instructions! The sections can be organised how you like: I have two rows of eight at the bottom of my wardrobes for shoes and two rows of five at the top for scarves, hats etc. You can also miss out 'middle' sections to create a double width space suitable for t-shirts etc, as my husband has done at the top of his wardrobe. I am delighted with this product: its quality and the ease with which it can be built. It has transformed my wardrobe space and made it much more useable. I would recommend it to anyone looking to utilise their space. I have knocked off one star as I think that it is a tad expensive for what it is.
