Review: Great accessory! - Really expected this to be in the box with the speaker given the speaker price tag however understand this product has just been released and wasn't available when SL3 was launched. I'm a sucker for official accessories anyway so this was a must have for me. Works perfectly, recess connection with cable underneath the cradle is very neat, decent weight and rubber base ensures when the cradle is set up it won't move and no more loose wires. The cradle has the same footprint as the speaker and the speaker aligns and docks solidly with cradle due to raised plugs at each end that slot into the holes underneath the speaker so no worries of speaker sliding off unless lifted. All in all looks just part of the speaker when docked and of course it charges! One thing I would have liked to see with the SL3 is when connected to power and fully charged when switched off that the green indicator switches off also rather than constantly being illuminated but that's nothing to do with this review really. If you want a dedicated solid base for docking your speaker for charging then I'd highly recommend this product! Review: A must for your speaker. - Great dock. I have brought it to use on holidays. Its extremely light and well build, doesn't feel cheap at all. Makes charging on your speaker so much easier as you don't have to keep plugging back in the cable each time you want to charge it. Other than not having to remove the plug from the back of the speaker ?** A: If you don't unplug frequently you may not want it. I find it convenient because overtime your charge cord or charge input deteriorates with frequent plugging in and removal of the plug. **Q: I need the charging cord, where can I find it?** A: If you just need the cable itself, my suggestion is to contact Bose Tech support to order the correct power cord and purchase it through Bose. And, from my point , it should go in the package with mother device, which costs a lot.
