All server racks the fronts are standard. Although I don't one of these, It does seem expandable to able to accommodate deep servers of which the dell r710 is one! **Q: Shelves - does this item include shelves and if so how many?** A: No shelves just the frame.... **Q: I have a 500mm wide space will this rack fit. Depth and height are not a problem. Thanks.** A: At least for the 2-post model, it won't. The bottom of the rack takes up 505mm. **Q: What is the smallest depth it can go to, ie will the rack fit in a space that is 65cm deep? Width and height is ok, its just the depth.** A: Yes, it's approx 10 mm deeper than a Cisco 2600 series router. Great for homelab!! *by B***N on 18 December 2025* Great product with outstanding quality, it is strong and stable 15U rack with ability to have a Dell R730XD without any issues. It would be nice if StarTech would have optional add on kits to turn it from open frame rack to close frame a.k having top and sides to it. However, the rack is simple to build and set up with easy to follow instructions perfect for homelab.
