Mehron 3D Gel - Fleshtone (2 Oz)

I've had a little pre-test of this product, so I would be able to use it with ease come Halloween. You need to heat the gel, I used boiling water and kept testing it, as you don't want to get it too hot and end up burning the skin. Once it has transformed from a solid to a nice thick liquid gel you are ready to go. I didn't find any issues whilst heating it and it gave the perfect consistency for applying to my face to achieve the look I was after (going for a melting skin look this Halloween). It dries reasonable quickly, you may just want to do an area at a time so you can hold your head in a position to let it dry where you want it to stay. I think with the full make up on, it will be another winner from the Mehron range, I am steadily building a whole Mehron set, as it really does ooze quality, compared to your average on line fancy dress make ups available.

Really easy to use, does exactly as described. Comes with good clear instructions on the bottle.

Worked amazing for me the flesh tone and red one im allergic to laytex and this ment i could do my look easily down side was very messy and when heating up took a while but then would end up drying every quickly sadley but overall was amazing easy to peel off and didnt cause me any issues dispite haveing sensative skin and allergies to most makeup stuff ect

Good product for good price. Arrived fast Just didn't like that stickers were applied over the instruction label.

Arrived on time. Good product does need to soak for a fair while to make it pliable.

The bottle arrived without a seal of any sort and the lid not properly secured. Unsurprisingly it was completely dried out and set. Could hardly squeeze the bottle as the contents would not move. Was a complete waste of money in my instance. Edit: to clarify i mean with heating its the same issue. Before heating its so firm you cant move the bottle. When heated it is a firm silicone like consistency.

This arrived quickly and the product it fab. Easy to use and washed off with soap and water leaving no staining.

It was not that difficult to use, I think it just needs a bit of practice in order to work with this product. Be careful when you try to melt the gelatine, I used a bowl full of hot water to submerge the plastic bottle and it worked perfectly. Be aware that the product will be hot coming out from the bottle so the more you heat it the higher is the risk to burn yourself. Also, do not bring the gelatine to boil, it will ruin it.

Looked and performed exactly as it should have. The only complaint I have would be how long it took to ship, since I waited almost a month for it to arrive.

Great product! Takes a bit to warm up. Be careful not to overheat as it does burn if over heated (test it on your wrist before applying to someone else). Goes on easily with a popsicle stick and makes great effects that blend well with the face. I created gross cuts, peeling skin, and burns on myself, my husband, and my daughter. It stayed on very well, looked real, and washed off easily with soap and water. If you haven't used it before, I do suggest watching a tutorial. I did a practice before and then did our Halloween makeup after the tutorial. I was pleased the first time, but super proud of the tricks I learned on the tutorial. Also, this product goes a long way. With 4 applications (various spots, not full face) we have over half the bottle left. Can't wait to use it again next year for some more cool effects!
