Great product, it saves a difficult job of clearing debris out of your drains.

I love these drain covers. Yes, you read right. They look good and are fit for purpose. They cover an average size drain and stop leaves and other debris from falling into the drain. Excellent product and price. I could not find anything similar in any of the big DIY shops.

I initially purchased the product thinking it would displace my plastic drain covers. It is not really meant to do this as it is a thin piece of stainless steel and very much works by being overlayed on top of the existing plastic cover to camouflage the look. It looks well and is reasonably secure. There is a possible risk with a very heavy downpour that the cover might prevent all the water filtering through and causing overspill but so far so good.

Time will tell whether the grate will last but initial impression is that it is fit for purpose, easy to fit, simple to remove and clean. Personally I wouldn't use it on a drain that takes foot or vehicular traffic but is a brilliant value, alternative replacement for old broken cast iron grates set into a recessed gulley.

My 95 year old neighbour had a quote for £108.00 to clear a blocked gulley drain. This gets rid of rainwater that falls into the back yard and it had got blocked by leaves. It`s not even the main drain and was a total ripoff. I cleared the thing in a matter of minutes, it`s a simple job, check out YouTube, and then to prevent any future blockages I bought two of these and fitted one. It has already proved it`s worth as there has been a lot of leaves blown onto it but these are now easily removed. Very happy to recommend and a very happy neighbour.

when i ordered this pack of 2 i thought they would fit but too small so my fault really.6 inches square.seem like they may have been good if a little flimsy and light,could have blown away easy.not sure as will send back

Excellent! Fit my 5 square drains perfectly - 15cmx15cm (6ins x 6ins). I have cleared the drains of leaves. fitted these and then put the original grills on top in keeping with the house. Have to wait and see how they perform over this autumn and winter but I have to say all looks promising. Good quality, good price, well packaged and delivered by Hermes. I just need a round one now - any suggestions? Would definitely recommend but MEASURE YOUR DRAINS FIRST to avoid being disappointed. Hope this is helpful.

My landlord's drain guard is the old fashioned iron type, rusted in position and so rusty that there is little space for water to get through. Lately I've been having to unblock it about once a month, and it's a difficult job because of all the rust. These stainless steel covers fit on top of the old one and sit on it very nicely. They are easy to clean off, easy to lift up and they do a great job. The only potential down side that I can think of is that they are so light and flat that they could easily become displaced during a flood.
