Great, nice and decorative and functional. Incense burns well and avoids any potential mess from ash. Easy to empty out, but be careful as the little metal dishes may come out when emptying, don't want to lose them (as I've lost one)

Not brilliant quality, one arrived slightly broken but I glued it. Look nice & fit for purpose.

Was a bit concerned by some of the reviews on this product but when I received mine I was SO pleased I purchased it. It is very pretty and the intricate little leaf pattern makes it so pretty. Some "numpties" warm that it could catch fire - I don't see how if you use it properly ! What I do is to put a little bit of blue tack to secure the joss stick through the hole if I get a very thin joss stick - so it doesn't fall down into the tray - also it means you can position it right int the middle of the box. I haven't had any problems so I think that perhaps the person whose box caught fire obviously didn't know how to use it properly and probably didn't blow it out so the joss stick was only glowing. This is a very good quality and pretty box and I am VERY pleased with it. Thank you.

I feel as though the box has been rushed as it doesn’t measure up very well, the engraving of the design looks rushed and almost unfinished and the box doesn’t close together very well. The cone holder inside came out and doesn’t go back in without glue and the incense stick rests on the bottom of the box which is a flaw. A shame as it’s a lovely box just feel as though more attention to detail was needed.

What a world we live in where I have to come back and append additional negative feedback to an already one star review. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, IT MAY CATCH FIRE Earlier today, I lit an incense stick and left it in the item, in my downstairs bathroom - which by the way are generally small rooms in UK. I closed the door to preserve my digity, as we ladies are wont to do. Thankfully in middle age my bladder urged me to return not so long after the initial blessing. Upon arriving and opening the door to the aforementioned TINY bathroom, I found the product BELCHING out smoke to the degree that it got in my eyes, rendering me momentarily without sight. Acting instinctively, I took the item outside where it continued to smoke aggressively. I then returned indoors to relay the details of what had just happened to my companion who had heard the commotion, heard me flustering around, and come downstairs to investigate. To add insult to injury, when I was relaying the details of the incident there was a flickering in the corner of my eye which actually turned out to be THE VERY SAME item that had combusted and was now ablaze. Please see attached photos of burning item and item after the fire was extinguished. As I had previously left a 1 star review, I cannot change the order of the photos. This was my former review: I’ve had many wooden incense boxes in the past, they’re a classic design. I ordered multiple, big mistake, not all are created equally. The hinges are stiff, the lid is not flush so it doesn’t close properly. I should have returned these when I had the chance.

FUNZIONALITÀ: questo tipo di portaincenso mi sembra il più comodo, pratico e funzionale tra quelli che ho visto in giro qui su amazon: raccoglie la cenere ed evita che le superfici si sporchino, ha uno scomparto porta-bastincini, è adatto sia per bastoncini che coni. ESTETICA: essendo un oggetto in legno lo trovo più genuinamente "etnico", più tradizionale rispetto ad altri tipi di portaincenso. Belle le decorazioni, sobrie. Non è rifinito proprio alla perfezione, nè è un oggetto prezioso, ma è un bell'oggetto. QUALITÀ/PREZZO: il rapporto è ottimo. Inoltre non mi aspettavo fosse inclusa una bustina di coni che emanano un profumo molto gradevole! SPEDIZIONE: molto rapida. L'articolo è arrivato integro. UNA PECCA: io lo preferisco così come mi è arrivato, ma c'è una differenza rispetto all'immagine che presenta l'articolo: sono infatti assenti in realtà quei dettagli dorati agli angoli (NON mi riferisco alla decorazione con le foglie, quella c'è ed è fedele all'immagine).

Es ist sehr schön gearbeitet, hat Messing Intarsien und einen schönen asiatischen Look. Die Räucherstäbchen können innen, links und rechts in dafür vorgesehenen Bohrungen gesteck werden. Auch Räucherkegel können innen auf einem Metallteller gestellt werden. Der Rauch zieht schön durch die geschnitzten Öffnungen im Deckel. Ein schönes Geschenk 🎁 für jeden der Räucherstäbchen stilvoll nutzen möchte. Der Preis ist super.
