101048 Basics Acrylic Paint 48 Colors

I was recommended these acrylic paints by a few other Artists. As a professional illustrator, these paints are perfect and the blendability and range of colours you get in this pack is great. Like many other Artists I use these like watercolour to build up colour washes and glazes of thinned colour and these paints are exceptional for this. Also these paints mix very well with each other and you can create other shades of colour easily. The tubes are small, but if you are using them like watercolour and also un thinned they should last, although you can buy larger tubes separately if you get a few favourite colours, I can sense that I'll be using the Neutral grey 5 more as I can grey tone stuff with that paint and also light portrait pink which gives a nice mid tone colour for skin. This is a great paint set and one that I would recommend

After using some cheaper quality paints I was pleasantly surprised by this brand. I'm a beginner painter and these are perfect for me. The paint is a lot nicer than cheaper brands and seem to be on a similar level to other popular brands such as Windsor and Newton (which I have also used and like a lot). I bought the box of 48 and the choice of colours is beautiful. I would definitely recommend these paints.

Used for first time yesterday. Nice texture and colours, tubes a bit small though, I will have to buy individual colours as I run out.

I bought these to start painting with Acrylics. They are good budget paints, but I’ve learnt since that there is no need for so many colours for painting. Maybe for model painting or something along those lines, but in hind sight for painting on board and canvas I would have bought primary’s, white and a few other select colours in larger tubes.

Been buying these for some years now. I use them to supplement the colours in other sets of acrylics. They are a good quality paint as you would expect from Liquitex. I bought these this time as a gift for some children as I thought they would get some fun out of the variety of of colours and I try not to give children second rate art materials as decent paints etc are more likely to encourage them. Always look for these and buy them when I can. They were sourced from a supplier that I have dealt with over a long period of time.

The colours are beautiful and bright, very accurate to more expensive pigments. They go onto surfaces well and layer wonderfully. Some of the colours (yellows and reds mostly) are very transparent despite claiming to be 'opaque', but this is a common thing with Acrylic paints. I'm using these for practice and personal works, a very good introduction to acrylic paints.

Fabulous paints. As an art student buying paints can be overwhelming, so many to choose from, however these have a fantastic selection of colours in a convenient size, when you carry a lot of paint around the weight soon adds up, you have more than enough colours in this box. They're smooth flow with great depth of colour, glide easily onto the surface and dry quickly. Great!

A beautiful set of colours, a pleasure to use but sadly the ultramarine blue is dried out and a rubbery solid, hence only 3 stars but apart from that ..great!

Ich hatte bisher hauptsächlich sehr wenige und günstige Farben und habe mich zur Erweiterung des Bestands dann für diese Farben entschieden. Aus "erweitern" ist dann eher "ersetzen" geworden. Ich hab mich für das 48er Set entschieden und bin damit sehr glücklich. Die Farbauswahl ist super zusammengestellt und ich konnte bisher (auf Malkarton) kaum Deckkraftprobleme feststellen. Nichts was eine zweite Schicht nicht beheben könnte. Auch die Konsistenz der Farben ist gut. Die Tubengröße ist für mich persönlich optimal, da ich nicht so häufig male und größere Tuben entsprechend nicht so schnell verbraucht bekomme.

Las pinturas excelente. En cuanto al pedido, solo hay que estar pendientes con el vendedor ya que en mi experiencia el vendedor ya había entregado el paquete en paquetería y la paquetería no lo sacaba a ruta porque lo tenía algo parecido a "perdido", con unos mensajes al vendedor se arregló el problema y 2 días después ya tenía las pinturas conmigo. Cabe resaltar que el paquete llegó 2 días antes de lo previsto pero si no hubiera tenido contacto con el vendedor quién sabe qué hubiera pasado.

Very good paints...only thing I feel is it's kind of costly ... and the paint runs out soon... so better to buy large tubes instead of this whole set... but in fact it's also good to have them... if u dont want to mix colours by yourself... there are plenty of colour options...
