The clarity and sensitivity are far superior to the Miller in my opinion. It has not once failed to activate unless the sensors were blocked by something. The Miller failed repeatedly, same with my Hobart hood and that has 4 sensors. And it is so clear when idle that moving around with the shade down is not a problem. The only caveat I would add is that it seems a little "light" for a shade 10 (feels more like a 9) so if you are doing a lot of high amp TIG or fluxcore you might want to get the F11 version. That being said I feel the F10 model is perfect for light MIG/TIG fabrication. I ordered an F11 model but was sent another F10 so I am waiting to see if they will authorize the exchange. Hopefully Tefuawe will make it right, I would hate to have to take away stars for that. But according to data from ANSI Z49.1-2005, the minimum protective shade number is 10 when welding at 150-500A.
