Smart Light Bulbs, Work with Alexa, Google Home, AiDot

If you are a power user running a smart home through Home Assistant, you know the frustration of "cloud-polling" limits and API rate-limiting that often come with brands like Govee. I recently swapped out all my smart bulbs for these Linkind WiFi bulbs specifically to solve that problem, and the difference in reliability is night and day. Home Assistant & Local Control The biggest selling point for these bulbs is how well they play with local integration. Unlike other brands that force you through a cloud-based API—which can lag or stop responding if you make too many requests—these bulbs respond instantly. I haven't run into a single "out of API calls" error since making the switch. They are recognized quickly and maintain a rock-solid connection to the network, which is essential for complex automation. Color Quality & RGBTW Performance These are RGBTW bulbs, meaning they have dedicated LEDs for both cool and warm white in addition to the RGB colors. The white light quality is excellent—crisp enough for a workspace but able to dim down to a warm, comfortable glow for the evening. The 16 million color options are vibrant and saturated, not washed out like some budget-oriented smart bulbs. Responsiveness The latency is virtually non-existent. Whether I’m triggering them via a dashboard, a physical zigbee switch, or a voice assistant, the bulbs react immediately. This is a huge upgrade if you’re used to the "popcorn effect" where lights in a group turn on one by one with a delay. Final Verdict: For anyone tired of the limitations of "Big Brand" smart lighting and looking for something that just works with Home Assistant and Google Home, these are a hidden gem. They look great, they are easy to set up, and most importantly, they don't lock you out of your own hardware with API limits.

I had a different brand of smart bulbs prior to these that never stayed connected. I have not had those issues with these bulbs. The app that goes with these always works & the bulbs always stay connected. I really like the way you can make them change colors to music, that's pretty fun. The remote on the app is useful. They are able to turn bright white, which is what I like. Easy installation. Good value. I would definitely purchase again.

I’m really impressed with these light bulbs. The quality is great, they work very well, and the app is excellent and easy to use. Setup was simple, and I really like having smart controls through the app. For the price, I think these are an excellent value. Great performance, a very good app, and an affordable price. Highly recommended!

These. Bulbs. Are. SO. COOL!!!!!! Seriously, these are one of the best things we’ve ever bought for our house. (I’m serious. Easily falls within the Top 5 of our favorite-ever home purchases!) The app is super easy to use and very comprehensive in terms of features/options. I know these kinds of bulbs have been around for a bit, but it has been a new discovery for me and I am completely enthralled with them!! The day they arrived, I stayed up so late playing with them because it was just so much fun and made me happy. They were very easy to set up and connect to via the app. We have now installed the bulbs in every major area of our house and I have to share so many things I love about them: 1. Let me tell you, taking a steaming hot shower with your lights set to the colors of the Aurora Borealis (one of the many lighting presets available in the app) is just really freaking cool. 2. The regular white light mode is great, too. You can fine-tune the warmth and brightness with such precision – this is great for getting ready/putting makeup on, reading, etc. 3. Being able to change the light color in every room of your house is just so fun! Color-code your lighting based on your mood, your visual needs, etc. There are so many different features and customizations that can be made, it’s awesome. Creates an especially fun ambiance for gaming, watching TV, or having a party. 4. You can turn lights on/off with the app. Laid down in bed, got all warm & cozy, and then realized you forgot to turn the bathroom light off? No problem – just do it on the app. This is also pretty handy for when you’re traveling – you can either remotely turn lights on/off in the moment, or pre-schedule your lights to come on at certain times - making it appear that someone’s home even when they aren’t. 5. I can imagine this pre-scheduling feature also being a cool way to wake yourself up in the morning, if you’re like me and have a VERY hard time waking up/getting out of bed. I’m going to have to play with that feature a bit more, I think the only downfall to using it as a slow-wake type of device is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to gradually increase the brightness on a pre-scheduled turn-on time. But, I plan to try circumventing this manually – for example, setting the light to turn on at 10% brightness at 6:30 am, then setting another for 15% brightness at 6:35 am, and so on, so that it ultimately ends up achieving the same effect as one of those expensive sunrise alarm clocks. I will update my review once I try this! Overall, such a fun buy. Does everything we wanted and more. If you’re thinking about getting some of these, DO IT! You’ll have so much fun with them if you are easily amused and love RGB lighting as much as I do! :)

Bought these for all of the lamps in our home. Easy to adjust the settings, set timers, and my favorite part is being able to adjust the brightness and colors based on the seasons or just setting a great vibe. Great purchase, great price in comparison to others out there, would buy again, and would recommend!

Mostly good but with some issues. These bulbs can do a lot of different things that are interesting and work with the Alexa so that you can turn them on and off through voice commands. Set up was pretty easy and it’s convenient when they work. but I noticed a fair amount of flickering, and they only work some of the time.. that is to say sometimes when I tell Alexis to turn them on off, it doesn’t do that successfully. It’s possible that I am still learning these and that there are ways to troubleshoot these problems, but there enough that I would not at this point give it five stars.

These are great, my house does not have a neutral wire, so I can use these paired to Google Nest smart speakers for voice activated dimming and for color changes. If you have any Google smart speakers, all you will need to do is load the AiDot app on your phone, and pair them with the Google Home app and AiDot app to your Google Home account. After that, you can say "Hey Google, turn the [whatever room you named and assigned them to] lights on to 50% brightness" and it will happen. Separately, I purchased AiDot lights of this type for my mom, who has some mobility constraints, and it saves her from walking around to the far side of a room to get to a light switch; she can now just "tell" the lights to turn off. If you don't have or don't use any Google smart speakers, you can just control the lights with the app on your phone.

Just got these for my bedroom and office lamps. You need to download their app but once you do it was super easy to connect all the bulbs. I got the set with the button as well and it works great. The button took a bit longer to connect to the app but once I did it was great and worked exactly as expected. The bulbs flickered a bit for one of my lamps because it had a native dimming feature on it. No complaints from me though since the bulbs do warn you to not use it with a dimming feature. Dimming is done strictly on the app or the button. These lights can be adjusted to whatever colors you want on the app. It uses a color wheel so you can really pick whatever color you want. It also has some presets and "moods" in case you don't know what colors look good. The app also lets you set up circadian rhythms and schedules so they'll turn on/off. I haven't had any problems with them but it's only been a couple days. Will update if anything changes my opinion. These were also a lot more value per bulb than other lightbulbs.
