Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping night oil

Only just discovered this oil. Excellent product - don’t be put off by the colour (blue) it blends in so well. Certainly helps keep wrinkles at bay.

Having spent a fortune on this oil, I feel compelled to use it. Purchased after the usual slew of glowing reviews, all I can say is that whatever its virtues, Kiehls equivalent not only matches its qualities but actually smells like something you welcome using.

If you have super dry, sensitive skin, this is the retinol for you. Some people don’t like the blue tansy scent I think it’s fine and as soon as it tries, you don’t smell it anymore. So I ran out of this and tried to use a couple of different retinols that were less inexpensive, Figuring they were all the same. I was so mistaken. All of the others were too harsh and dried out my skin.. I have sensitive skin, allergies and I wake up with my skin, soft and moisturized. It’s just magnificent. It is absolutely worth the price tag.

really wanted to love the Sunday Riley Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil because it’s such a popular product and the ingredients sound amazing. After using it consistently for a few weeks, I have mixed feelings. It’s a nice product, but for the price I expected stronger results. Packaging & First Impression The bottle is beautiful and feels very high-end. The oil itself is a deep blue color which looks unique, but it turns clear once you massage it into your skin. Texture & Application This is a lightweight facial oil that spreads easily. You only need a few drops for your whole face. It absorbs fairly well, but if you use too much it can feel a little oily on the skin. Scent It has a noticeable herbal scent (from ingredients like blue tansy). It’s not terrible, but it is fairly strong and may bother people who are sensitive to fragrance. Results This formula uses a gentler retinoid ester instead of a stronger retinol. Because of that, it didn’t irritate my skin at all, which I appreciated. My skin felt soft and hydrated in the morning and had a slight glow. However, I didn’t see a big improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, or texture after several weeks of use. The results were pretty subtle compared to other retinol products I’ve tried. Pros ✔ Gentle and didn’t irritate my skin ✔ Leaves skin soft and hydrated ✔ A little product goes a long way Cons ✘ Expensive for the results ✘ Can feel oily if you apply too much ✘ Strong herbal scent Final Thoughts This is a nice nighttime facial oil and may work well for someone new to retinol or with sensitive skin. For me personally, the results didn’t justify the high price, so I probably wouldn’t repurchase.

I’m a huge fan of Sunday Riley products , especially the oils. I’ve been using this nightly along with the CEO glow during my morning routine. My skin health has improved and my husband has noticed my consistent glow. These two oils will remain staples in my skincare routine!!

I've been using Luna oil on and off for several years. Every time I lapse on this product my skin suffers. I have "angry at everything" skin & this is my go-to magical elixir. It's calms & rejuvenates my skin in a way nothing else does. I even use it on my neck and chest. After a few nights of using this my skin straightens out and looks so dewy and refreshed. My pores are more manageable, and all those little lines start to soften. It's incredible. In the past I've neglected this product due to price, but no longer. It's not worth playing "catch up" when I go without it. I use a few drops of Luna after applying La Roche-Posay Redermic R Anti Aging Retinol Cream. Afterward I apply a moisturizer and spot treat with the UFO oil or The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution. (They're both great for pore congestion and random acne spots.) No need to go overboard with this product. A little goes a long way.
