I've never had any issues with this. Threads are quite enough and I have multiple left-outs from this kit.

My daughter purchased this kit for me during lockdown. I have completed most of it but have ran out of the grey thread, number 18501.

I think I ran out of some as well. But luckily; I have loads left over from other kits that I substituted. Cross stitch patterns are very forgiving that way. So just use others if you have some.
