Very good for Midori & Hobonichi notebooks
I wanted a protective clear cover for my A5 Hobonichi Plain Notebook. This comes with a cover of thick card, which is ok but will likely not last, given that the notebook contains 288 pages. So having checked the measurements of the notebook and this Midori cover, I knew that they could work together. They do.The notebook was a tight fit, and I had to bend back both the front and rear book covers so I could slide them into the end slots. Once inserted, the notebook closes properly and when opened, still lies flat. The thickness of the Hobonichi Plain Notebook is 10mm with W: 148 x H: 210, so if your notebook is equal or less than those dimensions, you should be able to use this very nice Midori A5 cover. BTW I believe the Half Year Cousin has the same dimensions as the Plain Notebook.The plastic is flexible yet thick, very clear and looks to have a solid seam. There is a pen slot on the rear cover, which seems to be of thinner plastic but I won't be using it, as I keep my pens in a pen case.Overall I'm very pleased with this Notebook case. It looks good, does the job well and above all fits the notebook I bought it for.

not worth £8, caution whilst taking on and off
not worth the money to be honest - ripped after just removing it. isn’t £8 quality, and considering it’s supposed to protect the journal i won’t be using it.

Good Fit for an A5
I was a little nervous about buying this for my Hobonichi Cousin as other reviews had suggested it might not fit. I've seen it used with an avec, but was not sure it would take the larger book. No need to worry, it fits just fine.and has no issues with closing. However, saying that, the fit leaves no wriggle room so I can not guarantee that when I start journaling that it will still fit.

KOKUYOのCAMPUSダイアリー昨年、購入した際にカバーにしました。今年も2027年のものにカバーを再度、購入しました。定番になりましたね！どうしてこれにしたか、というと他の商品よりお手頃だったから。硬い紙が付いていて、そのままカバーかけるの少し往生しますが、透明な白の台紙なので、推しの写真とか入れるとカスタマイズできます。丈夫でとてもしっかりした作りで、カバーを探している方には心からお勧めします。

Excellent paper on a budget! There's no other paper that can compare with its quality. Inks do not bleed even with wet pens. I found Smythson to be better than this but then Symthson paper is at least 7-8 times more expensive.Disclaimer: I have never used Tomoe River paper.
