Great fan, ideal size, great performance
Using this fan primarily because of it being slimmer than most fans, because I have mounted this on the side of my case as an intake fan to blow air over my GPU. Installation is extremely simple, using the anti-vibration rubber mounts. The fan moves an reasonable amount of air considering its small size, and helps to keep my GPU a touch cooler being under a direct stream of cool air. Fan is 4-Pin so is PWM capable. I run the fan on average at 40% most of the time and the fan is completely silent. The temperature of my case does not reach temperatures required to push the fan to its limit very often. Fan comes with cable extension lead and low noise adapters to run the fan at lower voltages, but they really are not necessary with this fan I recommend this for anyone with tighter space requirements in their case.

Good, quiet static pressure fan for a low profile CPU cooler.
I bought this as a fan swap for a low profile cooler in a small form factor case. I managed to measure the noise difference as around 4dB lower than the original, without significant interference from the nearby case intake grill - and 4 dB is actually a surprisingly noticeable amount. Although Noctua fan colours and lack of RGB may not be to everyone’s taste, this fan is premium quality, and you get a good selection of connectors in decent packaging.

Slim, quiet and great quality.
After purchasing a second hand rig I noticed one of the fans was catching the cpu cooler and sounded awful. The original fan was 25mm thick so the search was on for a slimmer one. This fan is 15mm thick and is suitable for low profile applications so was perfect. Pros - slimmer than most fans available, whisper quiet, and extremely high quality parts. Comes with extra cables and adaptors and very well packaged. Cons - that color... Not for me but since its an exhaust fan and my case has no windows it didn't matter. Also, the price was a little high for a non rgb fan. Though the price was a little high, I would definitely buy more (and need to) as I can be assured all the parts are of top quality.

I'm torn
Easily the best fan I've ever had the pleasure of using. Has a VERY small amount of coil whine that I could only notice when every other fan was turned off. Note that this is the slim 15mm version not the full size 25mm thickness. I wanted to use this to supply fresh air to my GPU so I placed it in an empty space next to my PSU. Unfortunatly, the screw holes are raised [see image] which creates a gap. Because of this the fan is not pulling any air from outside the case. It's just recirculating air already in the case through that gap. I can barely feel any airflow with my hand as it is. Idk if this is just because the gap is small but I really don't know what to do with this. I want to return it but it's such a great fan. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could solve this issue or if I should just get rid of it since it's not doing anything useful. I thought of sealing the gap with tape but that prob won't work.

Another great Noctua fan!
My new computer case had space for another 120mm fan. Due the case design, the fan itself would need to be quite slim to fit in the gap without being obstructed. As I already have quite a few Noctua fans in my case, it made perfect sense to get another one to finish off the build. Like all Noctua products, this fan came with everything needed to "get the job done". Installation was straightforward as per usual, with no complications. The fan itself is very quiet. It is virtually silent in it's operation, unless it is running with a very high RPM. Even in under the heaviest of loads, due to my fan curve, I didn't really get any super noticeable noise. Overall, this is a brilliant fan. Noctua do not disappoint!

expensive but solidly built quality fan with excellent cooling capability due to strong static pressure from it's 1850rpm speed.
the first thing you notice pulling this fan out of it's packaging is it's heft. it feels heavy, solid and substantial compared to most regular 120mm fans even 140mm. at it's default speed (1850 rpm) it's not as quiet as my akasa amber dual ball bearing fan (1400rpm) it's replacing, but it's only slightly louder with a slight growly pitch to the noise profile (sounds a little like a bumble-bee trapped behind a curtain) but the level of static pressure delivered means it's a better cooler. having a slimmer (15mm not 25mm) profile means i'm able to lower and squeeze the fan in between the cpu heatsink (scyth ninja) and the memory (as opposed to sitting on top of the memory) thus helping to cool both cpu (blow/push) and memory (pull/suck). added bonus - the allowed lower placement and its 120mm size means it's also helping cool the northbridge chipset on my motherboard so - one fan is doing three jobs! better still - having now removed the 40mm x 10mm noctua fan from the northbridge as the 120mm noctua is do the business, temps that normally hit 45c on both memory and northbridge chipset never pass 36c (with a 1GHz overclock to 3.44GHz on my 2.40GHz Q6600 Intel cpu) and thats on a hot day with 30c ambient room temp. the only problem i've encountered is mounting the fan on my cpu cooler. the slimer 15mm profile means my wire fan clips reach past their intended hooking points on the cpu cooler. currently it's jsut squeezed and held in place via it's frame using a Corsair CMYAF Dominator Airflow memory cooler via it's housing bracket/frame. ...at some point where time permits i will need to pull the cpu cooler out and cut new notches into it's cooling fins so the wire fan clips for mounting a 120mm fan have somewhere to hook onto. properly mounting the fan should help silence it a little more. ...would have been nice if it also came with the silicon/rubber fan gasket that the new noctua NF-A12x25 PWM comes with. edit: - one fan is doing four jobs (not three)! the lower placement means more importantly the fan is also cooling the CPU voltage regulators (VRM's) these get quite hot on my system when runing with it's 3.44GHz overclock as the CPU needs 1.4750v (up from default 1.3250v) to run at this speed. ...five jobs if you count the static preasure from 1850pm is able to throw the cool air clear accross 120mm width of the CPU heatsink helping the chassis fan exhaust more efficently.

What a waste of money! Started up with a high pitched sound And never stoped until I turned off the PC..

Love these fans, they all look the same though unfortunately so I keep buying and returning. They’re decent quality and decent price. Won’t break the bank too much. Quite easy to install, click click. Works quite well, and doesn’t sound too loud. What else can you ask for? Also size wise even though it’s big, it’s meant to be. Fits well and cools well.
