**Q: Does it come with a meat temperature manual**
A: No Sir, it just comes with a basic instructions leaflet.  But you can easily find meat temperature charts online, for example: https://www.everdurebyheston.co.uk/cooking_tips_details/all/internal_cooking_temperatures

**Q: Can I use it to test the pool water?**
A: No idea on that we use it on food, but I suppose you can. It checks temp so it should. I have just checked it in glass of warm and it read 34deg, then I put it in the freezer and it went down to zero. So it will cover all that range. Hope this helps

**Q: Is it waterproof?**
A: Hello,

The probe itself is, but the rest of the unit is not.

A: I use mine to prod my cakes instead of a skewer. If it comes out clean, then it's cooked.
