Would recommend
Very good blade. Doesn’t come fully sharp, but sharp enough. The grip on the handle is fan flipping tastic. The finish is nice. Definitely has plenty of great working safety features. The knife doesn’t fall out of the case and is locked in very well. So well in fact that I cut my finger when I pulled it out of the case. Please be careful and don’t be like me. It is definitely worth my money. Looks exactly like the photos.

Nice survival knife
I have other Odenwolf products and this knife set does not disappoint either. I like the fact that you get a nice kydex holster with the knife along with a flint and steel set plus a compartment for it. The blade holds its edge and it is easy to sharpen as well, the steel is of good quality and does not rust if maintained as instructed. The grip/handle is good for medium to small sized hands, so if you have large hands, the knife may feel small in your hands. I'm happy with it and looking to getting many years of use out of it.

Wolf II No nonsense knife for the real world
No nonsense knife . I purchased this knife as a general purpose and camping knife. I wanted a quality blade, that would hold an edge but was rugged enough for hard use . Ultimately ,It’s just a great deal on a D2 full tang knife! Also produced in Germany ! Came nicely packaged, knife itself ( I got black on black) is a good looking design. D2 steel blade came sharp enough to cut paper. And judging from the bald spot on my arm …. Shave hair lol. Appreciate the jumping and nice flat edge for starting fires, nicely balanced , size is big enough to do some tough jobs and hacking, small enough to not be obnoxious Handle is grippy , nothing fancy but seems durable, good shape, and texture , fits the hand well. Sheath seems adequate, locks in secure , multiple position clip If you don’t want to have to worry about your 300$ knife getting dirty , wet , dropped or lost …but still want a quality tool , this is a good knife to consider.

Very nice overall
Overall great knife. Holder is tight and is holding up well. The bracket that attaches the knife to your belt does not fit a standard belt and that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I had to buy a narrow belt to fit in the latch for this particular holder. Great knife for the price for sure.

Perfect work knife and daily carry
I’m a mechanic and use blades daily — cutting hose, zip ties, insulation, packaging, gaskets, and random debris. I prefer a fixed blade that can slide in the back pocket while clipped to my belt, this one is super comfortable in that orientation, It fits the bill! The grip is rubber but sturdy (very comfortable btw) making it feel solid even with greasy or wet hands, and the sheath isn’t flashy but keeps it secure and accessible. I’m not out in the wild trying to survive off the land, but for shop use, truck kits, or glovebox carry — this knife earns its spot. At $17(W1 sheath), it punches way above its price point. Honestly, I wouldn’t cry if I lost it — but I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Better than expected - Sheath isn't perfect though.
The knife is excellent for this price. 440C Steel is good, it's certainly not a 'super steel' and the price reflects that reality. It's an attractive, high carbon steel which is very hard and sharp, but it can be a bit brittle so I wouldn't do a lot of prying or torture tests with it. Mine was very sharp out of the box. The top edge will be perfect for fire rods. Small nit-pick item - the belt clip is a bit weaker than I'd like it to be. I have lost knives before when they don't solidly grip your belt and I believe that is a risk with this design. My picture illustrates this. I will likely find a leather worker to make me a proper sheath, or I won't carry it on my belt in the field if I'm in the trees- but again for the price I'm not complaining. If you own any mora knives, the sheath is very similar to those. I liked the knife enough that I bought a second one for my father in law after mine showed up and it would make a good gift I think and should have no problem handling light and medium camp / bush crafting tasks. I actually am considering getting a 3rd one for my tackle box or truck (orange this time). If you want to spend more than 50, you can find a better steel, but at this price point it gets 5 stars and I'm very happy with the purchase, and I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews.

great blade, bad sheath. Lost within a week due to poor design.
I really wish I could rate this better, the blade itself is excellent. It is sturdy, comfortable, and well balanced. My problem, however, is with the sheath. It is designed to be slid onto a belt without having to remove the belt so the loop is open at the bottom. It does not stay on the belt and can easily be pushed off. I only had the blade for a week and it got pushed off my belt somewhere and have been unable to locate it. If the sheath was designed with a closed-loop it would be a definit 5 star without thinking twice. But a blade that can not be securely attached can not be relied upon, I hope it turns up somewhere.
