Excellent smooth coffee for milk drinks and espresso
Very impressed with this coffee. The beans arrived fresh, well packed and on time. Lavazza Super Crema has a smooth, balanced flavour with low bitterness and a very pleasant aroma. Perfect for espresso, cappuccino and latte. Works great in my bean-to-cup machine and produces a rich crema every time. If you enjoy a mellow Italian-style coffee that is easy to drink daily, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely buy again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Superb beans, Affordable, Creamy even taste
Very fresh tasting beans, smooth, easy to grind, fantastic value for money and a very even medium roast. The crema was inconsistent at first and slightly patchy but i do believe it was a case of dialing the beans in! Nice thick crema, it is definitely getting thicker and more even as the beans are dialed in :)

Best espresso for the price.
I bought these specifically because I heard they were good for espresso, and they did not disappoint. The crema is thick and persistent—exactly what you want in a shot. The flavor is mild, nutty, and sweet. It’s not a dark, smoky roast, so if you like Starbucks dark roast, this might be a bit lighter for you. But for a smooth, balanced shot, this is fantastic. Great value for 1kg.

Better than most supermarket coffee....
I usually buy from specialty roasters but was running low and wanted something to tide us over. I had previously noticed a lot of coffee drinkers were buying this Lavazza variety, at least when not going to a local, artisan, roaster. So I thought, let's give it a go. The Kg price is very reasonable and with next day Prime delivery there wasn't much to lose. In fact these beans were surprisingly good overall. They were not fresh roasted (around 3 months) and the roast itself is a little dark so hints of oil are beginning to form on the surface of the bean. However, I found this coffee pretty easy to dial in on the grinder and was quickly drawing about 40 grams of espresso in the cup from 18 grams in 28 seconds, which I found to work quite well with this coffee in my espresso machine. The taste has a typically chocolate nuttiness to it but is, for me, slightly swamped by the roast itself which pronounced in Americano. However, it excel best in milky based coffee drinks and, in particular, I found it worked very well in single or double shot Cappuccino - keeping to the ratio (mentioned above). Running off 50 + grams of espresso made for a sour cup and aftertaste. Somewhat surprising also was that I didn't find the crema particularly pronounced over other 'regular' crema's, at least from my espresso machine. Overall, though, these beans are more than capable of making a very good cup of coffee (cappo, latte, flat, etc.), and certainly better than what you will find in coffee shop chains.

Love it, very creamy!
This is one of my favourite coffees so far. It’s very creamy, smooth, and full of flavour. I would definitely recommend it and will happily buy it again and again.

The reliable everyday bean — smooth, sweet crema, and it never disappoints
This has become my default bean, and that's the whole review really — it's the one I keep reordering. The flavour profile is what makes it work: smooth and mellow with a mild sweetness and notes of honey and almonds, low acidity, and none of the burnt bitterness that ruins so many supermarket beans. It's forgiving in a way that matters day to day — it doesn't punish you for a slightly-off grind or a rushed shot, and it tastes good across the board, whether that's espresso, a flat white, or something long. The crema is genuinely good — thick, persistent, and properly golden rather than the thin grey foam cheaper beans produce. That's the name on the bag and it earns it. The other reason to buy it is consistency. Bag after bag, it's the same coffee — no lottery, no bad batch, no wondering why today's tastes different. For an everyday bean that's worth more than chasing the perfect single origin. It's also freshly roasted and sensibly priced for the quality, particularly if you buy the larger bag. Bottom line: Smooth, sweet, forgiving, with excellent crema and rock-solid consistency. If you want one bean that always works, this is it. 5 stars.

High Value Roast, Especially If Crema Is your priority.
High-Value Roast, this coffee is a revelation in value. It consistently delivers a spectacular, velvety, generous crema with a decent micro-bubble structure that holds up well, whether pulled as a tight, concentrated ristretto or a longer lungo. While the official tasting notes label this blend as "mild," I'm not sure I agree. This is a wonderfully robust and full-bodied espresso. What makes it truly exceptional, however, is its balance. It offers a powerful, deeply resonant presence in the cup without the harsh, over-extracted bitterness that is often found in roasts of this intensity. I’m using it with the Philips self-grind machine and I’m thrilled to have replaced my Nespresso.

Supercrema di nome e DI FATTO. BEST BUY!
Super consigliato!
