The Reuzel Clay Matte Pomade delivers exactly what it promises: a natural, matte finish with excellent hold. It gives my hair some definition and thickness without making it look overly styled or crunchy. You know that “freshly done” look that still feels natural? That’s what you get here. My hair stays in place all day, but it’s still flexible and doesn’t feel stiff. One thing that really sold me is how easy it is to apply and, more importantly, to remove. I’ve tried other pomades that feel like they’re glued in, but this one washes out with minimal effort—huge plus! As for the scent, it’s a subtle minty fragrance, and I really enjoy it. It’s not overpowering, just a nice refreshing hint that isn’t too in-your-face, which makes it perfect for everyday use. I went with the 1.3 oz size since I wasn’t sure about the product, and while it’s a bit smaller than expected, it’s perfect for travel or carrying around in my gym bag. My go to hair product , love the scent. It’s not greasy and holds my hair in place well. This size last me ages as only need a small amount

It was rock hard , not a use able product seemed like it had lost its life , it was so dried you can see in the picture it had lost space and all dried up in the center , not recommended as it is hair product can be dangerous and harmful for hair

Wasn’t really sure how it was going to arrive after reading some not so good reviews but luckily it was sealed and the pomade itself looks good (hasn’t been dated or been in to high or low temperatures) so so far happy . Oh and it smells very good, you will like it trust me!

This matte pomade is simply amazing! Like many others I have spent time and good money on many matte products - that have failed to live up to the hype... I was sceptical, not being familiar with Reuzel and only initially bought the 35g tin to try it out, but happy to advise others that it surpasses all my expectations and the next purchase will be the larger tin. Hold is fairly strong and allows hair be restyled throughout the day whilst having a natural looking matte finish. Perfect for my style which is short back and sides with medium length on top swept to the side. Not much product is required to get the desired look, so although expensive - it will last and therefore good value.

Tried this after my barber using this. I like the smell of it. It smells minty and is different to the standard masculine aftershave-like smells you get with male products. The ‘cream’ is soft and easy to take out of the tin and is really easy to apply. It doesn’t feel like it pulls at your hair when you’re rubbing it in which is good. It’s easy to wash out too and doesn’t feel like it makes your hair feel like it’s caked in product like some products make it feel. The only reason I haven’t done 5 stars is the cost. It’s expensive for hair product but at the same time, I feel like it’s worth it.

I have thick hair and I'm always told to go for strong hold clays but always find they make my hair to clumpy, however this product which is a mix of wax and clay is perfect for my hair, it gives the hold along with being able to rework it if it does drop and it gives my hair the separation instead of clumpy it like normal clays

Bought on the recommendation of my sons barber. He used an industrial size tin for his clients. Nice and tacky, matt finish, fire it into just washed and dried hair for a nice look.

I must have gotten an old batch. It's brown and very hard. Not usable at all....
