TP-Link POINT D'ACCES CPE210 - Blanc

I brought this to connect two houses together on the same farm. It works very well, very little loss of internet speed between the two. Even handles sharing a Sky Q box from the main house to a mini in the next with no lost of quality at all. It connects just like it was close by. Highly recomended for properties like farms where normal wifi signals suffer more.

Have them working 6 months and have had no issues. Connected to a second unit 500m away which is connected to IP cameras. Very easy to set up and configure. Would buy again

Works perfectly, a bit tricky to set up but once you figure it out it’s well worth it as it works very well, trouble free, as does exactly as expected

Installed point to point mode, distance approx 200m and works perfectly. Was a little tricky sorting the IP but I got there...lots of software to help installation though not tried to improve the connection yet as it’s working fine for my application.

Recently expanded the network on a farm to reach all outbuildings and create a wifi/cctv network where there is no phone signal. Excellent devices. The first two purchased have been in place for 18 months wto tith no need to reset and have braved snow and the longest hot summer. Very happy with TP-Link range and would recommend the EAP / CPE range to small business, mid size offices and cafes without hesitation. Awesome value.

Set up quite easily in basic configuration but with a limited interface , difficult to find guest interface for multiple SSIDs couldnt control bandwith speed . Instructions limited

not good. Signal strength in fine, but Mbps is poor and drops to zero randomly, so It's either faulty or not fit for purpose

I set a pair of these up to provide Internet to my barn some 50 yards away from the main house. Use the second CPE as a wireless client then plug into a cable router and hey presto- a fully functioning guest network on a separate subnet.

Très bon point d'accès auxiliaire pour une zone non couverte par votre box. Utilisé dans mon cas sur une terrasse, il fait le job et permet un débit suffisant (non mesuré) pour smartphone, tablettes et gadgets IOT divers. Etanchéité éprouvée après des mois de fonctionnement en plein air été comme hiver. Installation facile. Rien à dire en reproche !

Me ha sorprendido muchísimo este punto de acceso direccional. Compre 2 unidades. Cualquiera con un mínimo de nociones en redes puede llegar a configurarlo y dejarlo operativo. Incluye hasta el POE necesario para su funcionamiento y puede configurarse ademas de como punto de acceso como cliente. Es decir, comprando 2 unidades y configurando 1 como punto de acceso y otra como cliente, podemos crear un enlace punto a punto de incluso kilometros si HAY VISION DIRECTA. En mi caso ambos están configurados como puntos de acceso, con DHCP activado y funcionan perfectamente. Son de exterior por lo que el frío o la lluvia no es un problema para ellos y tienen varios LED que indican en todo momento el estado y la calidad del enlace o del dispositivo conectado. El unico punto negativo que le veo es que no trae ningún cable Ethernet, por lo que tendremos que tener a mano varios cables (mínimo 2: del router al POE y otro del POE al punto de acceso) a ser posible categoría 5e o 6 para asegurar una mayor velocidad. Son actualizables mediante software y tienen muchísimas opciones en su panel de control. Sin duda volveré a repetir en caso de necesitar otro. Aconsejo muchísimo su compra si queréis extender vuestra red Wifi a otra zona o si quieres poner un enlace punto a punto.

Ich habe den TP-Link CPE210 in der Version mit einem LAN/PoE-Port in zwei Szenarien benutzt: 1. als WISP-Client/AP-Router in einem nicht soooo entfernten aber durch mehrer Mauern geschwächtem Netz zur Weiterverteilung per LAN+WiFi (indoor) und 2. Im Sommer als AP, der unser Wohnungsnetzwerk (per Powerline-LAN) vom Balkon in den grossen Gemeinschaftsgarten richtet (outdoor). Beides funktioniert super mit ausgezeichneter Signalstärke (nur im 2.4 GHz Band) und stabiler Versorgung eines relativ grossen Bereichs für mehrere Devices im Garten sowie eine stabile Verbindung als WISP-Client. Im WISP-Fall ist es natürlich klar, das es sich um Gerät mit ausgewiesener Richtcharakteristik handelt und somit "hinter" dem TP-Link schon sehr schnell Schluss ist mit dem weiterverteiltem WiFi-Signal. Der TP-Link CPE bringt den PoE-Einspeiser mit, der die zwei Ports PoE/LAN plus LAN hat (leider nur ein recht kurzes Stromkabel dafür). Ja, es sind keine Ethernetkabel dabei, aber erstens sollte man die sowieso haben, wenn man dieses Gerät einsetzen will und zweitens würde einem ein billiges/kurzes Kabel auch nicht unbedingt etwas bringen bei der Outdoor-Nutzung. Es ist zwar definitiv kein plug-and-play aber ich fand die Einrichtung eigentlich sehr easy (ja, ich habe ein wenig Netzwerk-Erfahrung, aber ein IT-ler bin ich nicht) - man muss eine feste IP im richtigen Range vergeben zum Start der Konfiguration usw. - aber ist eigentlich ausreichend genau beschrieben und kein Hexenwerk. Ich fand die Vielzahl und den Detailgrad der Infos in der GUI sehr gut und die Web-basierten "Tools" zB zum Signalpegel mit grafischer und/oder akustischer Echtzeit-Anzeige der Signalstärke sind ganz ausgezeichnet zur Ausrichtung der "Antenne". Das einzig nervige an der Konfiguration ist, dass man Änderungen der Settings "anwenden" kann, sie deshalb aber noch lange nicht in der Konfiguration des CPE gesichert sind! Dafür muss man explizit zusätzlich noch Save nach der Anwendung klicken. Das ist besonders lästig, wenn man sich wegen einer Änderung gerade re-connecten musste. Aber dann funktioniert es aber auch wie erwartet. Etwas holprig ist es im WISP-Client/AP-Fall auch, wenn der entfernte AP nicht aktiv ist, dann ist das Gerät per LAN-Zugang nicht wirklich ansprechbar zur Konfiguration... hatte mich dann aber per WiFi auf die 192.168.0.254 einloggen können - aber evtl. war das auch nur eine Folge des o.a. "ungespeicherten" Zustandes. Ich kann den TP-Link CPE 210 durchaus empfehlen; Wenn man weiss was man will und was man tut, ist es ein sehr leistungsstarkes und günstiges Gerät.
