**Q: As per a previous purchaser we have found it imposible to remove the lid. Has anyone else had this problem and got a solution?**
A: Same here - just had to wrap a towel around the top and grip it between my teeth and rotate the bottle - no chance of doing it the normal way i.e. push down and twist.

A: yes it is fine. again using a cloth with the oil on it. I have used it on my log burner fire.

**Q: Can it be used to preserve wood?**
A: Yes but there are many products much cheaper that will preserve wood

**Q: Is this OK to use on rattan furniture tia**
A: Yes it is fine to use this on Rattan Furniture.
Apply   some on to a cloth and wipe lightly .
