Revell 04164 Spitfire Mk.V 1:72 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit

I bought this model plane as a christmas present. It all looks like it will be a lovely model of a plane once it is all put together, however, i never realised that you need to buy the glue separately so i was disappointed on christmas day when the plane could not be put together as I needed to buy glue and paint and wait for it to be delivered. If it did state on the page when buying that glue and paint needs to be bought separately then I missed that.

This model of the spitfire was made in Germany it was very fiddley but I got a result try it

Although this Revell spitfire was a good kit to build, the decals for the underside of the AE-A version of the plane was not to Revell standards. There was no white areas for the roundel so I had to paint it on carefully but apart from that it was fairly brilliant. There was two sets of decals for the kit but I used the second set in a Mistercraft Spitfire. I recommend this kit to scale modellers who are intermediate to advanced

Expected it being bigger.

Cheap for the price, this is a quite nice looking Spitfire. A small amount of parts are present so no problrm for the younger builders here. Mouldings are clean and crisp, with minimal flash and good attention to detail, even with raised panel lines. A decent buy here, plus son decent paint as they are much better quality than the Airfix ones.

Arrived on time n great packaging we bought this one for tv presenter Chris Packham and gave it too him at a local wetlands where he was attending his project Bioblitz, he absolutely loved this small gift and it made our day that he was so pleased with it!! Many thanks

A very well made kit. This kit is a little better quality than their competitors. This Model is fairly easy to assemble. A really good start for beginners and anyone interested in getting into this hobby.
