It is nice and useful but I did not find the plastic to be of very good quality. It was too flexible. The handle broke when I first picked it up. I recommend that you do not fill it too much.

Good product and a good service

Just right size for family wash

I had a very similar laundry basket from Addis for over 20 years (bought in the 1990s) and hoped the replacement would be equally good, but it's not. It's probably much cheaper (in real terms), but it feels pretty cheap and flimsy. If you drop the basket when full of wet washing it can easily break. Also Amazon shipped it without a box (or any packaging), so I got a damaged/split handle basket left in my porch and had to send it back. The replacement was OK, but I have not been able to properly remove the shipping label (so I have a sticky square on inside of the bottom of the basket) I bought the same item in 2013 and that one survived 7 years before it split. I'd hoped I could stack the old and new together and get a good robust basket, but they don't really stack well. If nested they won't fit under the washing machine door, so I can't do this. I did try the John Lewis equivalent (before buying the second one of these), but some idiot had designed the JLP version with the sharp edge of the plastic handle pointing down which meant it would dig into your hand - not acceptable - and it had to be returned.

Wer einen Korb benötigt, den man a) tragen kann und der b) die Last von mind. 5kg Wäsche tragen kann, dem rate ich dringend vom Kauf dieses überteuerten Dingens von etwa 20,-EUR ab. Warum? Er hat a) keine seitlichen Griffe, man kann ihn also nur "vor dem Bauch" mit beiden Armen tragen, nicht seitlich auf der Hüfte. Gut, außer man hat Arme wie unsere Urahnen vor 200Mio. Jahren, dann trägt man ihn quasi längs und trotzdem mit einem Arm und auf der Hüfte. Ich kann es nicht. b) sollte man ihn TROTZDEM seitlich tragen wollen, greift man dahin wo eigentlich ein Griff sein sollte - in weiches, wabbeliges, geschmeidiges Plastik, was sich sofort verbiegt und einen weiß schimmernden Knick bekommt, der für immer bleibt. Eine Sollbruchstelle Marke Eigenbau.

Well priced, arrived reliably, nice grey/metallic finish, which matches our chrome kitchen nicely! Would recommend this item. No more to say.
