Cathedral Products 12 Inch Black Lockable Security Box with Bolt Down Kit

Excellent product. This was bought for a friend with Alzheimers who sadly kept taking her medication at the wrong times and moving it around so it's now screwed to a window sill and that problem is resolved. Very good price and well made.

Solid, sturdy, and looks pretty nice as well. It’s waaaaaay bigger than I was expecting (which is a little bit of a negative for I had intended, but you definitely get your money’s worth) Terrible security though. Like it’s fine for keeping stuff safe from kids or getting lost etc.. but if you want to actually protect valuables you gotta spend a lot more. It’s light enough to just steal the whole thing and the lock could be picked in seconds by even an amateur (or simply smashed with a hammer) — fine product though, just keep that in mind 😅

Good for cost except when screwed down the safe does not lie flush with the surface, a slight design fault

Nice and solid did the job protecting knives on camp

This lockable security box is solid, discreet, and exactly what we needed. The metal is sturdy, the lock feels reliable, and the bolt‑down kit gives extra peace of mind. We use it to keep my dementia nan’s medication safely stored, and it’s been brilliant — easy for us to access, impossible for her to get into. Five stars for safety, sturdiness, and giving us one less thing to worry about.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I purchased 2 of these to keep my personal documents safe and private. They are fantastic, they are solid yet lightweight enough to carry around easily They come with a handle and 2 keys per box. They are slightly bigger than a4 and so all paper work fits in without the need to be folded. They are also quite deep and so I store private note pads/diaries etc in mine. They are slim line so could sit on a shelf, under a bed or in a draw etc depending on space available. They have helped me feel that my private documents are safe ,secure but easily accessible. They are plain

Just the right size for an A4 sized document or smaller. Lots of space for paperwork and the box seems good quality. It's not too heavy and the lock seems to work perfectly fine. I use this to store consultation forms for my small business.

It is a good lockable box, lock is standard lock there are better locks but it is ok. It is like the cathedral cash box i have which is the same size. It clearly states on the packaging it takes A4 laid flat. I saw other reviewers complaining this was not the case and was not sure whether to believe them. The truth is it is maybe 2 or 3mm too short for A4, fairly obvious, the manufacturer must have made a mistake and should not be claiming it does that. You will fit A4 sheets in just they will be slightly crushed on the ends, so if that is an issue do not buy it. Otherwise, the box is good just like a big cash box without any inside partitions.
