I was hesitant to buy this MacBook because of such a low price. I expected it to be quite rusty. When I received it, I couldn’t have been happier. Extremely clean, fast operating system and amazing battery life. I charge it overnight and it lasts me a whole day of lectures and even a Netflix session in the evening! I had one issue: the space bar was a little stuck so I messaged the seller and they replied instantly, and arranged for someone to come and swap it for a new MacBook at my doorstep. Just received my new laptop and it functions perfectly again. Can’t fault this company and would recommend you buy your MacBook from here. Practically new, couldn’t tell it apart from a brand new MacBook from Apple. Only difference is that this is worth the price! Honestly deserves more than 5 stars. If you’re nervous about buying from here, take it from me. I’ll never be going anywhere else for a laptop in future.

Poor quality. Laptop hideously slow. This was an experiment to see if refurbished was worth it. Absolutely not.

Received it under 48 hours after I ordered it (much faster than originally anticipated, extra bonus points for that!) did take a little while to boot up (charging battery from flat to 100% and to set everything up) Only main issue I have had so far with this is the inability to connect it to wi-fi. No matter how many times I input my correct password, change wifi security settings etc I still keep getting the 'incorrect password' message pinging back at me (know it's not a problem with my internet hub, or provider as I have other devices fully connected wirelessly no issues at all at the moment.) Using the e-nternet cable right now just to access any internet connection on the MacBook & post this!! Edited my original review of this item as it no longer powers up at all, can't get it past the apple icon screen page before it randomly powers down. Am returning it. Not happy

Laptop came on time alright, but found the machine to be very slow right from the off. Every action lagged behind and it took several seconds to load any given page. Battery was ok, not great though. When I went to restore to factory settings I found both hardrives were full to capacity even though it was a fully refurbished item I bought. One hardrive would not let me delete the material on it, the other one, after I deleted everything on it I clicked on it again later and it was full AGAIN....... any wonder it was as slow as Christmas with no free space available on it. To make it worse I had to pay €56 to ship it back, I assume this will get refunded to me along with the price of the item.

To be honest, I didn’t expect much for £180, but this is in excellent condition. For anyone who misses not having a dvd drive, this has one, and works perfectly. Very slow start up, and lag to program run time, but I had planned to get an ssd, and memory upgrade having anticipated this - so, for £280 all-in, for a very pretty vintage MacBook that runs sweetly I can’t complain. I may have a good copy though...just saying. If you just want to use it to write in word, play dvd/cds, and surf the web it’s absolutely fine out of the box...and, as much as you might look at that new random laptop, be honest, Macs just look better don’t they? Expect it to be slow if you aren’t upgrading the hard drive or memory though.

Absolutely great value for money! I see a lot of people moaning about "MINOR" things on their reviews, I expect a few scuffs, as it's a refurbished Mac not a brand new one. However, it was emasculate, works like a dream, looks brand new! Would 100% recommend buying this product to anyone interested. Thanks guys!

The mac looks great, however the charger is not compatible!!! What am I supposed to do with this?

The computer was as described and when opened appeared brand new with no sign of wear and tear. The computer booted up quickly consummate with its age. Everything works without problem connecting to both the internet and the network printer without a fuss, It was a reasonable price for a MacBook and will do exactly what we want into do, It will be used to backup my wife business ipad using iTunes and correspondence
