OK, but there’s better options
Ok… it’s not a bad rod at all. I like it and I use it, but it’s not very well balanced and feels sluggish. It hasn’t broken or anything like that but it’s just not the best at this price range. I’ve had this rod for a good while now but I just can’t recommend it when there’s cheaper better options.

They need to deliver things more delicate
Rod is very good it’s just when it was delivered the rod tip was chipped so whenever I would reel in line it would make my line frail

Too stiff
Too stiff, can’t load the lure for the throw, like using a 2x4. But it is light weight and seemed well made. Not for me.

Definately rated wrong
This rod will easily handle 10 to 20 ld line not 4 to 12. I'll keep it for a salmon rod.

Broke within 2 months
Don’t purchase. Short return window and it broke at end where it is slices the line when casting.

This casting rod is just awesome. 7ft med fine tip. Looks really slick in black with a black reel with red accent. This Lews rod is perfect.

I have Lew's Baitcast reels and love them!!!!! I decided that if their rods are as good as their reels then I've got a winner. Just like the other 2 reviews....tip snapped right away. I was going to see about returning and getting another but Amazon no longer carries them (or was out of stock) so now I've got a tomato stake. I won't every buy another Lew's rod and am going back to my trusted Shimano or St. Croix. It's worth the extra $$ because they last.

I've heard good things about Lew's, and decided that i'd like to try the 2 piece SG1 to pair with my revo X. Boy was I wrong. The rod tip snapped on my first day of use while casting a 1/8 oz jighead. I only got about 50 casts in with this rod. Won't be purchasing anymore products from Lew's.
