Good price for this and quality seems great. Used on a MK2 Audi TT 8J with BWA 2.0 TFSI engine. Worth changing for piece of mind. Changed mine at 80k miles, there were signs of wear on the part this replaced.

I too can confirm this did fit in a 2005 mk5 golf 1.6 FSI despite the part numbering convention. Picture comparing removed OEM and this new part.

Ill start of by saying, you should never buy cheap replica components that are as important as this is... usually. Febi are a well known high quality brand which is why i bought this item (as well as the fact i needed one asap). When placed next to a genuine item you would never tell the difference. I have been using it for 6 months so far with no signs of wearing out soon. while this is no where near long enough to tell as the standard one had been in there for over 8 years, some cheap ebay items do not have the hardened coating and are amost destroyed by this time. Basically, I would personally go genuine just for piece of mind, however there is no reason why you should not but this part.

The dimensions are 21x21mm - ETKA says that for my Golf. VW says the part number for the aftermarket ones are wrong, but I fit this one into my Golf and it was exactly the same part as OEM! No issues so far. Please make sure you replace the o-ring on the HPFP as you're taking it off anyway..

Average quality on the best but does the job

Bought this for my mk5 and febi is similar to OEM. Arrived the next day aswell.
