– Brabantia Touch Bin, Matt Black, 60L

Didn’t expect to be impressed by a bin, but this one really stands out. It feels solid and well made, and the soft-touch opening works smoothly and quietly every time. The 60L capacity is ideal for a busy kitchen and the wide opening makes it easy to use day to day. The liner sits neatly hidden under the rim, and using the Brabantia 60L bin bags makes a noticeable difference as they fit properly and stay in place, which makes changing the bag quick and easy. It is more expensive than most bins, but it genuinely feels worth it. I would happily buy it again.

Wow I never thought I would be so excited about a bin, how sad is that but the whole family are sad too because we've all said this bin is the best bin ever, we used to have a brabantia bin years ago a bit smaller than this but the lid broke after many years and we made do with a large plastic Ikea Bin. This bin was on a black friday deal at almost half price, I thought long and hard about spending £96 on a bin but took the chance and so happy that I did - its fits under a work surface but is massive, we emptied our previous bin 2-3 times a week but this bin will probably last us almost a week. I have purchased the perfect fit brabantia bin liners (bought in bulk as its cheaper) that are an absolute dream to fit which means the whole family can empty the bin too rather than fill it so much the lid wont close - no excuses now. The lid opens and closes so smoothly and the catch is on the lid not the frame so doesn't get clogged with waste stuff thrown in the bin! The outside of the bin is like a brushed chrome and looks so stylish and clean all the time - unlike a shiny chrome thats gets covered in fingerprints and dog nose prints! If you are in two minds whether to buy this bin and are looking for a large one just do it - we are a family of 5 and its plenty big enough. Can't recommend it enough.

Its a great bin, lovely soft beige colour ideal size for a large kitchen & family.

Excellent 60 litre bin that looks great, has a small footprint and a smooth lid open and close system. Highly recommended to make your kitchen look smart and just works, plus a 10 year warranty.

Ordered this as I wanted a sturdy, large kitchen bin, and as far as those requirements go, I'm very happy. Would have been better if it had handles (little bits of plastic sticking out on the sides don't count and are next to no use!) to aid moving when cleaning the kitchen. Cleaning the bin itself is tricky - even using bags, there's always going to be a smell eventually, but there's a ridge around the inside of the bin at the bottom which traps any little bits which somehow make their way in there, and it's very hard to clean as it's quite tight between the ridge and the walls of the bin itself. Other than that, am happy with it, although it is a bit overpriced even for a metal bin. Hope the lid (which opens and closes very nicely, and doesn't seem too fragile on the catch) lasts as long as the bin itself, as a replacement is about half the price of the entire bin!

Loving this bin, couple months in and still very pleased. I was dubias after reading reviews that the clasp failed or didnt work on arrival as thats what killed our old bin but so far so good. Not a cheap product but also doesn't look cheap, lovely finish, easy to clean, we use the Beast 50L bags as cheaper than the brabantia ones and they fit perfect and slide out with ease. Never thought id be so happy to buy a bin! Highly recommend. Worth the money and stylish as far as bins go.

I was skeptical about spending so much on a bin, but the Brabantia 60L Kitchen Touch Bin proved to be worth every penny. Its high-quality construction and sturdy feel give me confidence that this bin will last for years to come, something that my previous bin(s) lacked. With its large capacity, I only need to empty the bin once a week, which saves me a lot of time and hassle. And the low height is a game-changer when it comes to clearing waste items off of plates and chopping boards. The touch mechanism for opening and closing the lid is incredibly easy to use, and the bin liners made to fit this bin perfectly make the whole process even smoother. No more struggling to fit oversized bags or worrying about the bin getting clogged with waste. Overall, I highly recommend the Brabantia 60L Kitchen Touch Bin to anyone looking for a durable and convenient solution for their household waste. It's a solid investment that will make your life easier and keep your kitchen looking tidy.

This is a very large but sturdy bin and although not cheap, the lid doesn't fall off / break after a few months like the cheapo plastic bins. It has a hard, plastic , pull out inner bin that slots into a strong , polished metal outer bin that is smear free. It has a handy press down click catch on the lid that is easy to clean. The lid is spring loaded so it pops up when the catch releases ( and stays up!),until you press it down again. Best to order the Brabantia 60-80L size bags made for this bin - they do fit , I bought this for my dad who had a very poor plastic bin whose lid kept falling off and was irritating to say the least. Don't use those free bags you get through the door - they are too small and thin for the 60L of waste weight. Easy to clean . Would buy again .

We bought this to replace our older kitchen bin. This ons is big and easy to clean. Love this purchase

Solides.
