Brilliant. Color Cubed is such a good fun family game! So many ways to learn with Counting, Colours, Shapes (lines and making a square) and thinking. Amazing learning game!

This is a very simple straight forward game to play, simply deal out cards to each player then place one card in the centre to begin, each player can then take turns at placing one of their cards down next to the first card matching as many coloured squares as possible, each square that matches it a point, the player with the most points at the end once all players cards are used is the winner, this is great fun for all of the family young and old, the cards are quite thick and sturdy so should withstands many games. I would recommend.

A fast-paced game of strategy that even our five year old can play with the whole family - without assistance. The object of the game is simple and much like Scrabble, but instead of letters and words, you're playing with colours. It isn't as entertaining as Scrabble, and you tire from the rhythmic simplicity fairly quickly as a grown-up. Thogh there are instructions for a few variations to the play. But for our young daughter, aged 5, it has aided, in a way, during the current lockdown by inadvertently assisting in practising number sequences, strategic thinking-ahead and problem solving. So in that regard, it's good for home learning, play groups and early learning. Also she likes to really up the scores, which further improves simple arithmetic ...and arguing over the validity of her calculations encourages her verbal reasoning skills! The cards however, could have been built to be more resilient, especially if they wished for them to be taken seriously by an educational establishment, which I was once a part of. The cards are quite thin, the corners fray easily, especially around excited children. The box itself is very well built and we love the fact that the rear of each card has the colourful brand design printed on it - instead of just being blank. The only improvement would be the quality of the cards themselves. 4 stars

This game is really good fun for all the family. The packaging is really nice and the cards themselves are really good quality with strong vibrant colours. The game is really easy to play so is suitable for all ages. You just have to match at least one colour from your card to a card that has already been played, but the more you can match the more points you win! Really fun and addictive.

Perfect for lockdown home schooling

This Color Cubed game comes well presented in a very neat box, smart enough to make it a great looking gift. It is compact in size which is ideal to take on holiday/camping etc. I played this game with my 12 year old son, it was easy to play and understand the objective of the game. The more sides of your card you can match in one go the more points you get. The cards are really really thick, much thicker than your standard playing cards. You really do start developing strategy and planning your next move. My son enjoyed it and the more he played it the more invested he was (to beat me ha.) It’s a bit like coloured dominoes but instead of getting rid of your hand you win with points. A good game that all the family can enjoy. At £9.00 (Jan ‘21) I think it is excellent value for money and I’m more than happy to recommend.

A very basic but entertaining game for the young and old alike. Much easier to play than traditional dominoes as sometimes dots on a domino are difficult to see or decipher for certain age groups but colour matching is much easier as my partially sighted father assured me! This set comes in a small box so easy to store and the cards are sturdy. A simplistic game to while away lockdown!

Great strategy game. Wonderful for dementia patients to keep them engaged.

MINI-REZENSION 🔹Spielen und Förderung 🔹Gute Qualität 🔹Hochwertig gemacht REZENSION Das Spiel kam super bei mir an. Es ist sehr schön gestaltet. Der Würfel ist dabei größer als die Karten selbst. Die Karten haben eine gute Dicke und können sehr gut gegriffen werden ( sind nicht zu dünn, damit man sie nur schwer vom Tisch abheben kann). Die Anleitung könnte etwas deutlicher beschrieben sein - ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob wir es richtig spielen - -Darf ich Karten nochmal verschieben -Was ist mit dem Stapel - wird dieser auch verwendet Das sind noch Fragen, die sich mir nicht ganz erschließen - aber man kann ja selbst kreativ werden - man muss sich ja nicht immer an die Anleitung halten - so bietet dieses Spiel auch noch mehr Möglichkeiten - wenn man es mit den eigenen Regeln erweitert. Auch unser 4 Jährige Sohn kann dieses Spiel schon spielen - wobei es hier noch nicht so sehr um das räumliche Denken geht sondern eher um das Zuordnen und erstes Zählen. Hier spielen wir auch noch nicht nach Punktzahl, sondern einfach nach Spaß. Es ist ein so simples Spiel - meint man und doch ist es wirklich super für die Kinder. Sie können so spielerisch ihr Mathematisches Verständnis, das logische Denken, das räumliche Denken fördern. Ich mag Spiele, welche nebenbei fördern Daher bekommt es von mir die vollen 5 Sterne - der Preis von 12 Euro ist auch angemessen für die Qualität. 🌈Ich hoffe, ich konnte Ihnen mit dieser Bewertung helfen. Nephews loved this game and the adults didn't get tired of it. Quick to learn and play. Has options for slightly more challenging.
