Granville 0846 500g Rubber Grease - Red

I have been using the Granville 0846 500g Red Rubber Grease for various automotive applications and am thoroughly impressed with its performance. Granville 0846 500g Red Rubber Grease Granville produce an extensive range of greases, and sealants amoungst other things. I have worked on vehicles for a very long time, however it was only fairly recently that i discovered the Granville range of products, specifically when i required a transmission / gearbox sealant. Standard engine sealants are designed for the application to areas on the vehicle such as the sump / oil pan, rocker cover, et; they are almost all listed as not compatible with transmission / gearbox oils, and will literally disolve if used in those areas. Both their engine and transmission / gearbox sealants are highly impressive, the sealants have excellent ease of application and the finished flexability and toughness or shore hardness consistency is superb. The Granville Red Rubber Grease, is an equally great product, their has been no separation of the oils in the grease whilst it has been sat on a shelf somewhere, waiting for an owner; the greases consistency is also excellent. Personally i only use highly regarded sealants or greases on mission critical areas of a vehicle, it is not worth cutting corners and potentially having a part fail, seize or wear out early, then having to re-do the repair simply because of a few pounds extra. Granvilles Red Rubber Grease is specifically designed for use with almost all rubber based products including vital brake caliper seals in direct contact with brake fluid, and transmission fluids. I highly recommend Granville products and perhaps if you decide to try one, you will also learn to love them.

The grease is better value for money in the larger tins.

Great value product. Are use this grease for breaking components such as slide pins or pad carriers on brake pads on all of my cars and motorbikes. The grease is good quality and long-lasting. The tin is large enough that it will last me many years, therefore represents great value for money. Are use a small paintbrush to apply the grease to the requires lubrication.
