Worked perfectly for Linux and allowing Intels Management Engine video redirection to work
Im Linux if the display driver detects no monitor it will disable the gpu entirely and cause Intel management engine problems. With this adapter the graphics driver does not unload and the management engine is able to do video redirection remotely giving you the ability to essentially have a remote console / ilom for free using ethernet. I use mesh commander and it works great.

When you need to make sure remote software works this is a great thing when you wanna keep the monitors off

Helps resolution and performance when running my remote computers headless
Works great for setting up my remote operating systems. For some reason some of my AMD processors don't like running headless, and even use more resources resulting in significantly slowed operation. These solve the problem and even allow higher remote resolution (1080p).

Great but QC is off
One of the plugs did not produce the correct resolution. Still works as a video plug if you’re using it to bypass the no monitor restrictions, but not great if you’re actually needing a virtual monitor.

Macht was es soll
Die Adapter emulieren einen Bildschirm was bei einigen PCs notwendig ist um hochzufahren. Also angeschlossen und funktioniert. Auch eine Remotedesktopverbindung klappt und man kann die Auflösung einstellen.

Absolutley useless
I was under the impression you could connect a wire to the other end so you could keep the graphics card thinking there was something there while the monitor was off to prevent the OS from screwing up your desktop due to reverting resolutions when monitor off and it thinking it was disconnected
