Review: Very high quality glass weights! - These Glass Fermentation Weights are exactly what I needed for successful fermenting. They fit perfectly in wide-mouth jars and do an excellent job keeping vegetables submerged below the brine, which makes the entire fermentation process much easier and cleaner. The glass is very thick, smooth, and durable, and I appreciate that they are easy to remove and clean after use. Having a 9-pack is incredibly convenient because I can work on multiple batches of sauerkraut, pickles, and other ferments at the same time without constantly rotating equipment. These weights have made my fermentation projects much more reliable and hassle-free. Excellent quality, great value, and highly recommended for anyone interested in home fermenting!
Review: These are great - These are as advertised, and they work really well. I like them better than the other kinds of weights commonly sold on desertcart because there's a little dish on those. Now. Let me learn you something, those other weights with a little dish will sometimes get filled with liquid when the sauerkraut expands and gases push the liquid up to a higher level, but then when The gas escapes and the water level goes back down some of the brine gets trapped on top of the pickling weight and does nothing for you anymore. These ones are better because there is nowhere for the brine to get trapped. Though admittedly they give you less space in the jar, when making sauerkraut, I don't like to let it get all the way to the top because sometimes the brine squeezes out when the CO2 produced during the fermentation increases the volume inside the jar.

A: Mine came in exactly as the picture shows. They are cushioned between to thick plastic cushioned cutouts so that they cannot break. They do not come with a giftwrapped look, just as you see advertised.

The weights do not fit inside Walmart mainstay wide mouth mason jars. They fit perfectly inside the ball brand wide mouth jars. I sometimes use off brand mason jars , so these weights will not work for the off brand jars. However The grip is very nice and weights are great quality . They are heavier then some of the other weights that I have purchased. They are flat on the top which is great because it keeps things nicely submerged. These are by far some of the best weights that I have found. The quality is superior to some others . I will be keeping these weights even if they do not fit the Walmart brand jars. . They are very easy to remove from jars. GREAT QUALITY WEIGHTS!
