Load a 9V battery (Included). 2. Remove the protective cap of the unit. 3. Power on the instrument. 4. The auto measuring range is 200 Lux, long press the Hold button for manual ranging selecting 200 - 2000 - 20000 - 200000 - Auto 200. 5. Select the measurement unit (Lux / Fc), by short pressing the Mode Button. Choose your needed mode (Normal / Average / Max modes for selecting), by long press the Mode Button. 6. Make the sensor vertically face the light source, get the reading. Short press the Hold button for holding the LCD reading. 7. Power off the instrument, cover the cap. Notes 1. Don't place the unit in high temperature / humidity environment. Keep the surface of optical detector clean when in use, make sure the reference level is vertically facing the light source. 2.
