No one that tried it threw up so 5 stars!!!!!
If you add water this spider WILL NOT come back to life. This is the only Zebra Tarantula that I have tasted so it hard to compare but I've heard that free range spiders are better.

My review
there really is no discerning flavor to the tarantula some slight notes of wood varnish mixed with paint thinner. For me personally the tarantula was overcooked/dried out too much. :( other than that the size of the tarantula was adaquate. If you want to eat a dried out spider with little to no taste this is your best betโฆnot worth the money to be honest

Tarantula
I bought this for my husband as a joke to see if he would eat it. He threw the whole thing in his mouth and ate it. He said it tasted like sunflower seeds.

Hilarious Gag Gift, but Tastes Like Crunchy Dirt
I picked this up as a gag gift, and it definitely delivered on the laughs. We even made a funny video of someone trying it, which was a hit with our friends. The spider itself grossed us out immediately. Taste-wise? Honestly, it was like eating crunchy dirt. Very dry and earthy, with a texture that reminded me of overcooked jerky. Not exactly a culinary delight, but that wasn't the point. For the price, I expected a bit more. It's a small snack, and at over $20, it's pretty steep for a one-time joke. Pros: Great for pranks or daring friends Realistic appearance adds to the fun Makes for a memorable experience Cons: Pricey for the small amount you get If you're looking to surprise someone or create a funny moment, this does the trick. Just don't expect it to be a tasty treat.

Amazing!!!
My 5 yr old asked to try a tarantula so I found it purchased it. He and my husband both split it and he ate it like a champ!! He loved the idea and actually enjoy it. My only issue was it arrived totally broken so the fun idea to see it whole was lost. But none the less it was great. Buying the next round of dried bugs this week!
