Amtech T0790 Brass Small Padlocks with Keys for Luggage, lockers, Toolboxes, Cupboards, & Sports Bags, 20mm, 12-Piece

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bought these Amtech brass padlocks for a “Find the Key” game at our church summer fayre, and they went down a storm! Sturdy, easy to use, and just the right size for the challenge. Everyone loved the activity, and the locks held up beautifully throughout the day. Great value and loads of fun!

These locks are good value for money items, they are fairly sturdy compared to some. The keys did grind a bit in the barrel at first, but if you put a drop or 2 of clipper oil or 3in1 into each lock, before you first insert the key they work smoothly. They are certainly tuff enough to put off the average chancer, but a really determined thief or burglar would maybe not be put off. Im not sure how they would be in luggage hold for international travel, TSA approved ones might be better for that. But enough to put through the zips of a work or light travel bag. Mine are currently keeping the hands of fiddling children out of my tool boxes with enough space to spare between the shackle and box for a 4/5mm security cable. Comparing the price to other well known brands, they are a very affordable and functional but not high security alternative. Items arrived very soon, next day in fact with 4 days to spare on the arrival estimate. 4 stars for value and delivery time, 3.5 for build quality.

tfOf the 10 padlocks, only 6 acually work. The final four do not unlockwith any of the keys The six that do unlock, do not give me a sense of security. Very unimpressed. They just aren't worth enough to bother trying to get a refund. EDIT: After much experimentation i found that 6 locks, have the same locking key shape, and 4 have a different key shape. 16 of the keys lock 8 of the locks, 4 keys work on the remaining 4 locks, and there's a spare 4 keys that work on NONE of the locks. There is literally no common sense to this.

I needed a selection of padlocks with different keys. It wasn't completely clear whether these were keyed alike, but they were cheap enough so I ordered them. The keys are different so they meet my needs, however if you need keyed alike locks you'll need different ones.

Tiny little padlocks easily broken open but ideal as a deterrent on window grills or baggage zips

Decent enough to lock a personal locker but could be easily picked or snapped

Good value, to use for kids in class to practise fine motor skills.

Rubbish, poorly made, some failed from start,could not recommend.

Verarbeitung ist "solala" nicht gerade der Wahnsinn, aber sie funktionieren. Manchmal kann es aber sein, dass sie von selbst aufspringen. Aber um div. Manschetten an Händen oder Füßen zu versperren sind sie top, vor allem was P/L angeht.
