I had an issue where I had a single vga output from my computer which I wanted to display on a monitor and projector. I tried one of the cheaper Y connectors but the projector did not auto detect the display resolution correctly and everything ended up being squished to one side. This solved the issue as it auto detects the resolution from only output 1, in my case the projector. Now both monitor and projector display the same resolution properly. Worth the extra money for a much better quality product. ### ⭐ Dual monitor with separately displsys *by M***5 on 13 August 2019* Purchased this item to extend my display. How this is a duplicator and you cannot use 2 monitors separately.
