These ring pliers with coated handles for good gripping have grooves to hold the ring in place while fastening. The tool seems sturdy and well made. There are 4 packets of varying size rings which was great if you're not sure what size would work best. I ended up using several sizes because of irregularities in the fence I was mending so having 4 sizes on hand was awesome. There are a generous amount of rings so you won't have to stop in the middle of the project and run to the store for more. The rings were easy to apply so the job went quickly. The stretchy gloves are a bonus and would probably fit most people, and they have grippers that work well to be able to hold onto the rings while working with them. The best part is the price because you would probably pay this price for the tool only at a hardware store. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it!

Pliers worked surprisingly well. Jaws are small enough to fit in 1/2" hardware cloth for my chicken coop enclosure.

Tool is cheaply made but sprung correctly for the task. The rings are good variety and work well with the tool. Gloves are small and useless.

Hubs bought a different kit first and returned. We bought a replacement foam for our truck seat.. Had to attached the cover to the seat foam.. These bull ring pliers worked great when he attached the rings on the truck seat cover. Great spring loaded pliers-- he raved about them.

They work very well. I used them to connect chicken wire together and accidently pinched my finger in the process. It wasn't a pretty sight so just remember to wear the gloves that come with them. It was my first time ever using these but all in all, the tool works great and the rings are super sharp.

Pricing was fair, comes with a nice case, extra room in the case for additional clips. The only issue I found was that the notch in the pliers that holds the clips/staples needs to be cut deeper. The clips fall out, slide out and do not compress properly. Tried using a angle grinder to cut them deeper, but not enough room, will try a dremel to cut them deeper.
