They are very comfortable. I have yet to run in them, but I’d say medium arch support. Im not an expert though I have low arches.

Should I get 1/2 size bigger?

I actually get a whole size bigger in Saucony sneakers. (Other brands just a half size up). I also found that the newer version of the Axon is slightly narrower in the toe than the older version, so I would definitely size up.
