Lost-Wax Casting: Old, New, and Inexpensive Methods

I love this book. I have dabbled before in making wax models for lost wax casting but decided in January that I would concentrate on this as my new year project. This book has been a very useful reference for when I have been having problems etc and I have even made one of the rings. Highly recommend.

Good comprehensive coverage of the lost wax casting process. Filled in many of the blanks left in other reference works on the subject. Easy to read and follow, this is an excellent starter book on the subject and well worth the money for the time it will save.

It had all the information what I was looking for. This book gives a good overview of the lost wax casting process.

Probably a useful book if you intend making precious-metal rings, brooches and earrings, or gold teeth, but no good if your intention is larger sculpture or machinery parts. It really only concentrates on very small equipment.
