Love this game!!
This game is brilliant and well worth the money. I'm addicted to it and I'm learning new words as well. It can be a bit annoying when most of the time you know the answers but you're not fast enough to complete the task but it is a game after all. When I say fast i don't mean thinking of the answer fast but more not quick enough in manoevering the wiimote were you require before the time runs out which is a tad annoying when you know the answer! I play this game every night as it's like a school and once you've reached your expression potencial for the day, you cannot move onto the next level until the day after. You can set the game bearing in mind whether english is your first level and your age. I decided to set it to a five year old and as secondary language to see if it would suitable for my friends son as it does state 3 plus but it was far too difficult. I thought it may have got you to spell words such as boy or sun or and but the words are much to difficult and i would say it really should be suitable for a child 7 plus and even then it could be tough.

Coaching for who? Adults!
I bought this game as we are nearing the summer holidays and I thought this would be a great way of keeping my 6 year old son interested words and help with his spelling. We both found it very difficult to navigate using the wii handset. Having just completed his SATS at school my son was above average but the words that were appearing were not appropriate for him - that's having set it up for his age. It is lacking a lot of fun. It would probably be easier to do on the DS format. It was cheap - but a waste of money - I'm sure My son will not be tempted to play this again.

some good elements, but generally a miss
Firstly, this is completely unsuitable for kids. Mine like the Wii, but have shown no interest at all in this. Second, it is severely hampered by difficulty entering the answer, even if you know it. This is a problem since so many games are against the clock. Trying to draw a letter symbol on screen and have it recognised by the game is not easy. This just irritates.

Great Vocab Booster!
If you don't like the title of this game, then you're going to hate it! However it really does what it says on the tin and I know I've learnt some new words because of it. It has an excellent dictionary, clear definitions and a nice set of games. My only complaint is that it's not that easy to have a five minute go at it, it would have been nice to have a baby version on the Wii menu or quick games that you can play for a few minutes. If you've got thirty minutes then its great, but for any less than that you have to wade through cumbersome menus and if you haven't gone through the initial tutorial and saved it then it can take an age to get to the vocabulary building part. Overall it seems like the only choice for the Wii and on that basis I recommend it for those who wish to enhance their lexical ability! (See, I did learn the odd word.)

words for all
Brilliant for anyone that loves words. Kids who enjoy reading will be able to extend their knowledge and feel like they are having fun at the same time.

Too complex for my son
The game has a 3+ rating, and I thought it would be good way of learning for my 5 year old. Alas, the easiest level in this game starts with missing letters in 10 letter words!!! It failed to interest even older children visiting us, and overall I found the rating misleading. I am hopeful my son would play with it when he is a bit older!!
