Duracell DR9720 Replacement Digital Camera Battery For Canon NB-6L Digital Camera Battery- White, 42.0 mm*35.0 mm*7.0 mm

I don't normally buy spare batteries which are not the camera brand as they don't last half as long but I decided to try the Duracell as it was a lot cheaper than canons version and still a well known brand. I was pleasantly surprised as the battery lasted a similar length of time if not a little longer than the canon battery that came with the camera! Pleasantly surprised and will buy again

I can't honestly say if it lasts as long as the original as i never ran the original flat; but so far it performs well. It was a cost effective solution when the original died

This item arrived extremely fast, with absolutely pristine packaging. The battery itself rivals those of Nikons own, in terms of battery life and speed. I purchased this item with the aim to take it to South Africa with me on a 2 week Safari / Village Charity visit, as I wasn't convinced that just one original Nikon Battery would be enough, and I was completely right! The Nikon battery lasted 4 days - just enough to cover my footage from the Safari, yet before I even arrived at the village the battery had died. A quick swap to the Duracell Battery showed a significant improvement and actually proved to last 8 days with almost constant usage! Thats almost double the amount of shooting time that the Nikon Battery allowed. I was astounded! I would definitely highly recommend this product. Couldn't be happier! (p.s. I've attached a photo of the safari if anyone was interested!)

Got this battery to back up the original one in my canon sureshot camera. Third of the price of the Canon battery so have to say it’s a bargain

Some numbers for you. Ordered from MyMemory August 7th, dispatched from Switzerland August 8th, arrived UK August 12th. For comparison, a cheaper version from a different supplier never arrived at all. Voltage on arrival 3.81, after charging to charger shutdown 4.13, and after running 'flat' according to the camera software 3.59. Its second charge took it back to 4.13. There IS a bit of a difference between those figures and the Canon original battery ('flat' at 3.34, charged at 4.14) and the Canon battery does seem to keep going longer, but then it has a higher rating. This might improve over a few charges, I suppose, but I'm not holding my breath. The Duracell battery took 65 stills and one minute of video on its first charge. The Canon battery has been charged three times, is in the camera now, has taken 67 pictures so far on this use, and the camera is still showing "battery full". The battery meter tends to show full for ages, then fall off quickly. Conclusion 1: this battery lives up to its specification and performs as expected. Conclusion 2: the camera specification is deliberately misleading. Canon claim battery life of 230 shots, which is absurdly optimistic. Most reviews of the camera mention this. If you get less from your batteries than you expect, it might not be the batteries' fault.

Had this for a good few years now for a Canon SX700 HS, and it's still as strong as the original at a lower price, highly recommend !

Eccellente batteria di ricambio da 1000 mAh per fotocamera digitale CANON S95 ed altri modelli. Vantaggi: - prezzo bassissimo rispetto all'originale CANON (circa 13 euro); - 1000 mAh, contrariamente ai 700mAh attualmente indicati nella scheda prodotto; - arriva in confezione nuova sigillata originale DURACELL (tipo quelle esposte vicino le casse dei supermercati); - entra perfettamente nel vano batteria della CANON S95; - non ricordo quale sia la durata della batteria originale per fare un confronto, comunque dura molto, e basta averne due al seguito per non rimanere mai "a secco". Svantaggi: NESSUNO *** Attenzione *** Se la batteria della vostra fotocamera (o altra apparecchiatura) comincia a deformarsi (in genere assume la forma "bombata") è necessario sostituirla quanto prima, perché significa che i componenti chimici che ci sono all'interno si stanno gonfiando e prima o poi ci sarà una loro fuoriuscita o cose peggiori. Per capire che la mia batteria era da sostituire (già insospettito dal fatto che durava poco) l'ho appoggiata sul tavolino e fatta ruotare: girava come una trottola perché al centro si era rigonfiata. Quella nuova, piatta, ovviamente non gira. Dopo aver acquistato questa prima batteria Duracell, soddisfatto dell'acquisto ne ho ordinata subito un'altra di riserva. CONSIGLIATISSIMA!!!

I have an old Canon camera that I have used for years. The original battery still works great, however, when I’m taking pictures all day, I can’t be stuck with only one battery. I have bought several different knock off batteries since the canon batteries used to be so expensive, but now our hard to find. None of them lasted nearly as long as the original. When I saw these produced by a company, I trust, I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did. They are just as good as the original. I think they might last just a little bit longer.
