I love this stuff and use it as a laundry booster whenever I'm washing in hot or warm water. It's the primary active ingredient in the OXY-style laundry cleaners, but at a lower per-pound price. It does a truly amazing job at whitening sweat- or food-stained white clothing, towels, sheets, tea towels, etc., without the toxicity of bleach. Just don't use it on wool or silk; it can damage those. It completely does away with strong odors. It does an excellent job on badly stained toilets. It dissolves coffee stains from French presses and other coffee makers. It does a very good job on tile grout. It helps dissolve and clear gunk from sink traps. It does need to be activated with warm or hot water to be truly effective. And best of all for me, unlike bleach and other harsh cleaners, it's not only safe but actually mildly beneficial for septic systems.

Item was exactly as described. Arrived in perfect condition. Works great in the laundry. Helped restore some very old (80 plus years) collectible tablecloths and lacework to a bright white color with no damage to the fabric or the original printed and dyed colors. Use it with all my pure white laundry to keep the whites bright (although, a few drops of laundry bluing helps too.) I would buy this again when I run out. This seller had the best price, which is important, because this stuff is not cheap, but definitely worth the cost.

Great product, worked as advertised.

Higher price than I’d like but excellent quality

Used this product to kill pond algae. Worked very well on test areas. We have a large pond so it will need a couple more pails of this product to complete treatment. No fish kill and no residual effects notes.

Okay for the bulk and price, but I can tell that this stuff is gonna breakdown faster than I can use it. Another, more expensive brand, the sodium percarbonate is little pellets which are designed to have it keep longer without having to worry a lot about air making contact with the stuff. Keeping sodium percarbonate means keeping it away from air, so you always have to be conscious of this.
