It's not far off, but I still occasionally splash out on the cloud 9 one

No it just speeds up drying time so causes less heat damage so I always use a heat protection first

I’ve got wavy hair & I use this. I’ve been using it for years, my hair is thick but the drying time is really reduced with this product.

Can it be used in conjunction with mousse and how please?

Hi I don't use it with mousse but use oil with it - put oil on first (mousse in your case) then apply evenly over hair and style. If you have time leave for 5mins before drying hair.
