Superb performance Along with a whole lot of value based on the low price. The size is Perfect as I place this great video player on a platform attached to my Nordic Track ski machine. I exercise and get to enjoy my favorite music videos of all time. I look forward to exercising every day. The ear buds are really great; excellent sound. (I read reviews before I ordered, & some recommended actual headphones to purchase separately…I did, then regretted that extra purchase, as they were inferior to the ear buds that come with this Powerful little DVD/CD player). Love the remote control too! I highly recommend this little machine with the big sound. I Don’t know about using with kids in a car. I just know for my exercise purposes, this is the BEST product for making my routine exercise much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this quality product and the very affordable price tag!

This is my honest opinion so please bare with me I’ve decided after watching someone who owns a library of DVD’s that have made sense about owning DVD’s and purchasing them one time and it is yours. I’ve also made the decision to buy a portable dvd player because I used to have one and missed it. The last reason for purchasing a portable dvd player is for when the Internet and power grid goes down I’ll have something to watch for some time. I had purchased two other portable dvd players and they don’t come at all close to this one. This Megatek Portable DVD Player is great and the sound is superb compared to the other two I had purchased. If you’re looking for a small portable dvd player that is easy to navigate and use and on top of that use in the car for trips or doctors appointments this is the one for you!

Good picture and sound....easy to use....

My only gripe about this DVD player is that when you put it on pause it times out too quickly. And you have to go back and reload the session. The other complaint I have is it all of the controls are right under the screen and they are all the same black color as the background of the screen frame. Makes it very difficult to see even in reasonable lighting situations. You have to have bright light in order to make out the buttons for play, pause, fast-forward, rewind, etc. Good picture quality good sound. I really haven’t tested the battery life as I keep it plugged in all the time.

so far, I use it for a Teleprompter for karaoke and it works good and the battery lasts very long at least four hours. I hope it stays that way for quite some time. That’s all I can tell you right now.

Do not buy this. I got this cause I was Housesitting and they had no tv. I would put in a dvd to watch and after about 15 min it would freeze and not play I would remove the dvd and make sure it was cleaned and still not work I would even put a brand new dvd in and it would freeze after about 15 minutes. I made sure the cord was plugged in and the dvd player was charged. I would not recommend this player you will not get your money worth and does not even play the dvds I would be better off getting a used one from the good will or a garage sale. The only thing I can say that was good about the player is that it was a nice one by looks that is all do not get this u less you want to go through the hassle of returning it

Excellent product, great price!

This dvd player is pretty par for the course. Size is perfect. Sound quality is good, although not very loud. My only issue is the picture quality is poor. No matter what I adjust, the coloring is off. I’ve gone online to get suggestions, some of which have been helpful, but the color is still wonky. The customer service is great though. I contacted them on something different and they answered me right away. Overall worth the money as long as you don’t mind a less than good picture, which I don’t.

Es excelente dvd, pero las pantallas vienen muy frágiles, se empiezan a dañar ( aparentemente) del display y obvio ya no se ven, siguen leyendo excelente el disco pero ya la pantalla no funciona

Loved and appreciated as a gift to my mom who loves old movies.

This works fine. It was nice to just be able to open the box and plug it in. The only issue is that the power button is in an oddly awkward spot so hard to turn on and off. And of course the screen has to be at just the right angle otherwise it’s a bit dark. I love that it has a headphone jack though.
