Super English Breakfast Tea !
New English Tea ist ein milderer Schwarztee als PG Tips und deutlich weniger bitter oder stark als Yorkshire Gold oder Red, die normalerweise schon nach 5 Minuten Ziehzeit extrem kräftig sind. Dieser Tee ist also milder, nicht so bitter und behält das Aroma des traditionellen englischen Frühstückstees. Ich empfehle, ihn 5 Minuten in heißem Wasser ziehen zu lassen. Sobald das Wasser kocht, sollte man es nicht sofort abgießen, sondern 30 Sekunden oder sogar 1 Minute ziehen lassen, um die Antioxidantien zu erhalten und den Tee nicht zu bitter werden zu lassen. Er ist aromatisch, aber nicht aufdringlich. Ich würde sagen, er ist ähnlich stark wie PG Tips, aber etwas aromatischer und milder. Mit einem Teelöffel Honig schmeckt er auch ohne Milch köstlich. Yorkshire hingegen konnte ich nach 5 Minuten Ziehzeit nicht ohne Milch trinken und benötigt eine 300-ml-Tasse. Für diesen Tee habe ich eine normale 220-ml-Tasse verwendet, da dies Standard ist. Es empfiehlt sich, den Teebeutel in der Schachtel am Rand zuzubinden, damit das Aroma auch nach längerer Zeit oder bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum erhalten bleibt.
